IGViewer

Purpose

IGViewer is a browser-side public content viewing tool that helps users browse public account profiles, posts, Reels, highlights, and active stories without logging in to Instagram. It is mainly used to anonymously view public content that one does not want to show in the story viewer list, such as viewing a competitor's public account, browsing accounts not followed, and collecting public reference materials. The official service does not claim to support private accounts and is limited to public content.

Main Capabilities

• View public profiles: the username, bio, statistics, and profile picture of public accounts.
• Browse public posts: the thumbnail grid, captions, and public images of public posts, without logging in to Instagram.
• Preview public Reels: preview recent public Reels in the browser; after two free pages, each earlier page costs 1 credit.
• Watch active stories: view public active 24-hour stories. When not logged in, one public account's stories can be viewed per UTC day (an empty ring also counts toward this check); a second account requires free login to IGViewer and then costs 3 credits.
• View highlights: browse available public highlight collections; the first unlock each day is free, and each subsequent one costs 2 credits.
• Download public media: download public videos, Reels, stories, and photos via Instagram Downloader, with original HD and no watermark.
• Public followers and following lists: unlock public followers and following lists with credits.
• Other content types: Instagram Repost Viewer, Instagram Story Viewer, InstaPV-style viewer, public profile picture viewing, etc.; the first two pages of Repost are free.

How to Use

1. Find an account: copy a public Instagram username (with or without @) or a public profile link. Private accounts are not supported.
2. Paste and search: put the username or link into the search bar to run the query. The public profile, posts, Reels previews, and highlight covers will load in the browser.
3. Watch stories or save media: open the Stories tab to watch active public stories without entering the official viewer list. When not logged in, one public account per UTC day requires no login. Use the downloader to process supported public media links. If you only want to view stories, open Instagram Story Viewer for a story-first layout; the same public-only rules apply.

Free and Credit Limits

• Not logged in: Each UTC day, you can anonymously view the active Stories of one public account (the empty ring uses this check); you can search public profiles and preview posts and Reels for free.
• After free login to IGViewer: the second account's Stories require login and consume 3 credits (free re-access within 24 hours); Highlights are free to unlock for the first time each day, then 2 credits each time; after two free pages of Reels, earlier pages cost 1 credit per page; the credit balance can also unlock public followers and following lists, earlier media pages, and Highlights.
• There is no official promise of "unlimited everything"; for specific credit package details and the current cost of each action, see the official pricing page.

Use Cases

• Anonymous browsing: view public accounts you do not follow without leaving a view trace on active Stories.
• Watch Stories before they expire: public Stories disappear after 24 hours; you can watch them in Story Viewer and keep a reference via Highlights or download.
• Check competitors and marketing campaigns: view public posts, posting times, and Story presentation of brands and creators in the same niche without logging into a work Instagram for every query.
• Save reference material: creators and marketers save formats, captions, and visual ideas as private reference files, still limited to public content only.
• Verify public sources: journalists and researchers need to view public posts of public figures or brands without interacting from a personal account.
• Save Reels and posts offline: after previewing public Reels and posts, use Instagram Downloader to turn public links into device files.

Limitations

• Only public content is supported; private accounts or locked profiles are not accessed.
• Close Friends Stories are not supported.
• No DM, like activity, or follower/following spy tools are provided.
• No one else's Instagram password is needed or requested.
• No claim is made to bypass privacy.
• The free active Story check is limited: one public account per UTC day when not logged in; more requires login and consumes credits.
