About this tool

ChainAnalyzer MCP Server is a multi-chain blockchain anti-money laundering (AML) risk analysis tool for AI agents, built by refinancier, inc. It integrates with AI assistants through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) protocol, enabling AI to automatically invoke its risk analysis tools.

Main Capabilities The tool supports scanning any address across 12 chains, all of which support self-service real-time use, including: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Solana, Kaia, TRON, and XRP. Analysis capabilities cover 76+ detection rules, machine learning anomaly scoring, and Neo4j graph analysis. The distinctive detection capabilities of each chain are as follows:

  • Bitcoin: OFAC screening, dust attacks, peel chains, CoinJoin detection.
  • Ethereum: 18+ detectors, Neo4j graph analysis, sanctions screening, mixer detection.
  • Polygon: Full EVM AML suite, Etherscan V2 compatible.
  • Avalanche: Full EVM AML suite, using the Routescan API.
  • Solana: Token security (rug pull, honeypot), wallet drainer detection.

How to Use Users can add this MCP server to the MCP configuration of Claude Desktop or Claude Code. The configuration supports three modes:

  1. API Key (subscription): Obtain a tfk_ API key from chain-analyzer.com (Pro plan).
  2. x402 USDC payment (pay-per-use): No account required, pay per request using USDC on Base or Solana. Requires installing the x402 npm package: npm install x402
  3. No authentication: Available when the ChainAnalyzer server sets X402_ENABLED=false.

After configuration is complete, users can issue natural language instructions to the AI agent, such as: "Check whether this Ethereum address is sanctioned: 0x1234...", "Analyze this Solana wallet's risk score: ABC123...", "Trace the fund flow of this Bitcoin transaction and check for mixing patterns", "Perform AML compliance screening on these 20 addresses". The agent will automatically invoke the appropriate ChainAnalyzer tools.

Use Cases Suitable for AI-driven workflows that require multi-chain address risk scoring, sanctions screening, AML compliance checks, and fund flow tracing, such as compliance reviews, crypto asset due diligence, and on-chain investigations.
