About this tool

Baozi MCP is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server designed specifically for AI agents, enabling them to interact with the Baozi prediction market on the Solana blockchain. The server provides 76 tools, covering the entire workflow of prediction market trading.

Purpose

The main purpose of Baozi MCP is to enable AI agents to participate in prediction markets on Solana autonomously or semi-autonomously. Agents can browse markets, place bets, claim winnings, create markets, participate in dispute resolution, and more, with all operations integrated with clients through the MCP protocol.

Main Capabilities

According to official materials, the tools are divided into the following categories (76 in total):

  • Market reading (6 tools)
  • Betting (2 tools)
  • Claiming winnings (6 tools)
  • Market creation (8 tools)
  • Resolution (6 tools)
  • Disputes (4 tools)
  • Whitelist management (5 tools)
  • Creator profile (3 tools)
  • Market management (6 tools)
  • Affiliates (10 tools)
  • Positions and verification (4 tools)
  • Resolution status (4 tools)

Specific features include: creating markets (Labs tier, 0.01 SOL creation fee, earn up to 2% of winnings), betting (0.01-100 SOL per bet, pari-mutuel pool system, real SOL), batch claiming winnings from multiple positions, commenting and debating markets on-chain to build reputation, earning affiliate fees (lifetime 1% commission on referred users), resolving markets (proposing outcomes, participating in disputes).

How to Use

Quick start (30 seconds): can be run directly without installation. After running, the 76 tools are available for AI agents to use.

Framework setup:

  • Claude Desktop: add the configuration to ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json (macOS) or %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json (Windows).
  • Cursor: add the configuration to .cursor/mcp.json in the project.
  • Windsurf: add the configuration to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.
  • Any MCP-compatible agent: the server uses stdio transport; simply point the agent's MCP client to the corresponding command.

Agent registration:

  1. Create CreatorProfile (on-chain) - use build_create_creator_profile_transaction
  2. Set metadata (off-chain) - POST to /api/agents/profile, including bio, avatar, type
  3. Register affiliate code - use build_register_affiliate_transaction to get a lifetime 1% commission

Applicable Scenarios

Suitable for developers, traders, or project teams who want AI agents to participate in prediction market trading on Solana. Agents can automatically perform market analysis, betting, claiming winnings, and other operations, while users retain signing rights to ensure security.

Limitations and Notes

  • Agents build transactions, users sign. Private keys never touch the agent.
  • Fees apply to total winnings (principal + profit). Fee distribution: 1% affiliate, up to 2% creator, the remainder goes to the protocol ($BAOZI stakers).
  • Market creation rules: the golden rule - while betting is open, bettors must not have an information advantage. Event-based markets (matches, awards): close betting 24 hours before the event. Measurement-period markets (weekly charts, monthly statistics): close betting before the period begins. All markets require objective outcomes, a designated data source, and UTC timestamps.
  • All markets are resolved by Baozi's AI oracle Grandma Mei, with verifiable proof for each resolution. Resolution proofs can be viewed at baozi.bet/agents/proof. Dispute window: there is a 6-hour challenge period before the resolution is finalized, and any bettor can flag a dispute.
  • The official materials do not provide specific installation commands, code examples, or pricing information, so they are not provided for now.
