Purpose
Webotee MCP is an Amazon product research MCP connector used to provide Amazon brand, seller, niche, and buy-box intelligence within the user's own Claude or ChatGPT. It is aimed at sellers and connects Webotee's Amazon operator, brand, niche, and seller research datasets to the AI assistant the user already has.
Main capabilities
Users can ask questions directly in Claude or ChatGPT, and the connector queries the Webotee datasets. Examples of questions that can be asked include:
- "Which sellers dominate the buy box for <brand>?"
- "Find underserved subcategories worth sourcing in the Home & Kitchen category."
- "What other brands does seller <X> operate, sorted by estimated sales?"
- "Who controlled the buy box for ASIN <B0…> over the past 24 months?"
- "Score this ASIN for FBA sourcing—speed, restriction risk, profit."
- "Is <brand> under attack—new sellers flooding the listing?"
- "Based on my authorized list, show unauthorized sellers on <brand>."
- "Compare the price of this ASIN on Amazon and Walmart."

Data coverage: 11 Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, Japan, Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil) plus US Walmart, with 2+ years of history across the top 1M+ BSR in the US and UK.
How to use
This repository is the connector's public client, documentation, and manifest. The Webotee MCP server is fully hosted at https://app.webotee.com/mcp，无需自托管、无需运行服务器、无需第三方 API key. Users add the URL to their assistant and sign in through a Webotee account (OAuth, about 2 minutes). The data is owned by Webotee, with no need to connect to or pay for other services.
Requirements:
- A paid Webotee plan—Starter ($29/month, 7-day free trial) or higher. Start trial →
- An AI client that supports remote MCP connectors: Claude (desktop/web), ChatGPT (developer mode), Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code.
- Sign in via browser OAuth—no need to copy or carry an API key, and no self-hosting or storage.
Setup (about 2 minutes): The connector URL is the same everywhere.
- Claude (desktop or web): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → complete Webotee sign-in (OAuth) → approve. Full steps: docs/setup.md.
- ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → enable developer mode → Create → name it "Webotee", paste the URL, set authentication to OAuth → enable it from the + (tools) menu in chat. Steps: docs/setup.md.
- Cursor / VS Code / Claude Code (or any client that only supports local stdio): point to the remote server via mcp-remote.

When to use
Suitable for Amazon sellers doing product research, brand analysis, seller analysis, niche discovery, buy-box history queries, cross-marketplace overlap comparisons, and more. Users can call these research tools directly within the AI assistant they already use.
Limitations
This connector is Amazon seller research presented as AI-callable tools: brands, sellers, ASINs, niches, buy-box history, and cross-marketplace overlap, from pre-collected research datasets. It is not a real-time shopping agent, nor an account automation bot. The connector only reads and interprets—it does not place orders or change the user's Amazon listing. Answers come from historical, pre-collected intelligence, so they are consistent, fast, and citable. Every answer should be treated as a researched starting point to verify, not a guarantee.
Pricing and daily AI Connect limits
