About this tool

Purpose

Limzo MCP is the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Limzo. Limzo is a Telegram anti-spam and community management bot, and this MCP server is used to provide AI assistants with public Telegram group statistics tracked by Limzo; it is a read-only data interface.

Main Capabilities

According to the official description, this server provides the following read-only public statistics:

  • Leaderboards
  • Activity trends
  • Member levels
  • Weekly award history
  • Moderation summaries

It is applicable to any group that has a public Limzo statistics page. The official description emphasizes: no API key is required and no account is required; all provided content is already public at limzo.com/s/<slug>; the returned data does not include the original text of member messages.

How to Use

This server is a hosted service, and this npm package is a stdio bridge tool for MCP clients.

In Claude Desktop / Claude Code, Cursor, or other MCP clients, configure it using the same pattern:

  • Command:npx
  • Arguments:["-y", "limzo-mcp"]

It can also be run directly via npx:

npx limzo-mcp

For clients that support remote MCP, you can connect directly to the official HTTP (streamable MCP) endpoint without a bridge.

An official example call: ask the assistant "How active is the hipo_chat Telegram group?", and the assistant will call get_group_stats. For the complete response structure, see the official openapi.json.

Use Cases

  • Query the activity and statistics of public Telegram groups in AI assistants that support MCP
  • Obtain group leaderboards, member levels, weekly award history, and moderation summaries
  • Scenarios where you need to understand the situation of groups tracked by Limzo in a read-only, public-data manner

Limitations

  • Provides read-only data only, and does not include the original text of member messages
  • Covers only groups that have a public Limzo statistics page
  • The data source is content already made public by limzo.com
  • More details such as fees, pricing, and platform support scope are not provided in the materials
