Product Positioning
OLVA is an AI meeting assistant whose core feature is "no bot attendance"—it does not join meetings as an audio recording bot or an additional participant, but instead captures microphone and system audio from the user's local device to complete transcription and meeting assistance.
Privacy and Data Processing
According to the official product facts page:
- OLVA does not store voice recordings or voiceprints. Meeting audio is processed in real time for transcription and then discarded; OLVA does not create or store recordings of the user's voice, meeting audio, meeting video, or biometric voiceprints.
- OLVA stores only meeting text transcripts, not audio. Transcripts are stored securely and are private to the account by default, unless the user actively shares or exports them through supported features or integrations.
- OLVA does not use user data to train models. Meeting content is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve general foundation models or shared AI models.
- Users can control their data. Supported meeting and account content can be accessed, managed, and deleted through product controls or by contacting support, subject to the retention and backup terms in the privacy policy.
- No "silent participant." OLVA does not join meetings as a recording bot and does not appear as another participant; it runs locally, and users are responsible for any notice or consent required for transcription.
Supported Platforms and Meeting Scenarios
- Meeting scenarios: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, Webex, and in-person conversations.
- Application platforms: macOS, Windows, iOS, Android.
- Real-time capabilities: speaker-separated transcription and language detection, question detection, real-time insight toggles, answers, coaching, Dashboard, and assistance based on reusable meeting context.
- Post-meeting capabilities: summaries, minutes, action items, slides, searchable memory, follow-up Q&A, and export.
- Languages: The default Soniox speech provider supports 60 spoken languages with automatic detection, and users can select multiple languages in use at the same time; if other speech providers are configured, the options will differ; translation output is a separate setting.
- Plans: Basic, Plus, Pro, and Ultra have public pricing; Enterprise, Teams, and Enterprise+ are contact-sales plans. Current public pricing must be checked on the official page.
Collection, Processing, and Storage Methods
- No roster bot: On macOS and Windows, OLVA captures microphone and system audio forOnline and offline meetings, without needing to join as a participant. Users remain responsible for required notices, consent, workplace policies, and legal compliance.
- Mobile capture: On iOS and Android, OLVA uses the microphone to process in-person conversations and does not capture system audio from other apps. Capture may pause when the app goes into the background or another app gains audio focus; you need to return to OLVA to check and resume capture.
- Screen sharing: Bot-free capture keeps OLVA out of the meeting roster. Desktop Incognito is a separate Pro/Ultra feature used to hide the OLVA window in supported screen-sharing capture; it does not guarantee evasion of all capture or detection tools, and you should verify your screen-sharing settings yourself.
- Cloud transcription: Audio is streamed to the default speech provider Soniox, or to Deepgram when configured; OLVA does not store meeting audio or video in its own systems.
- AI processing: Relevant transcripts, prompts, meeting and document context may be processed by OpenAI to support selected AI features. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and should be manually reviewed before important decisions.
- Stored content: OLVA stores transcripts, meeting metadata, documents and extracted snippets (if used), prompts, output, and related product data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Model training: OLVA states that it does not use customer meeting transcripts, prompts, documents, or other customer content to train, fine-tune, or improve general foundation models or shared AI models.
- Deletion: Supported meetings, transcripts, and document content can be deleted in the product. Account deletion can be scheduled through mobile settings, the web account page, or the desktop app. Product access ends once deletion is scheduled, and OLVA will delete the account and its meeting data after 7 days; it can be canceled within 7 days. Backup copies may still expire on their original cycles. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Integrations and Workflows
OLVA supports native Notion export and signed outbound Webhooks. Notion can receive reviewed meeting output, while Webhooks allow customers to build downstream workspace, project, or CRM automation. Official Notion and Webhook workflow instructions and a Webhook developer guide are provided.

Limitations
AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and needs review; mobile does not capture system audio from other apps, and capture may pause in the background; Desktop Incognito does not guarantee evasion of all capture or detection tools; audio processing depends on third-party speech providers such as Soniox or Deepgram and AI processors such as OpenAI; users must ensure notices, consent, and legal compliance themselves. Specific figures for current public pricing details are not currently provided in the materials.
