2pptx is an online conversion tool for image-based slides and documents. Its core purpose is to convert image pages whose text cannot be edited directly into editable PPTX files.
Main capabilities
- Supports converting AI-generated images, NotebookLM slides, GPT Image generated content, Doubao-generated images, screenshots, image-based PDFs, and PNG/JPG slides into editable PowerPoint.
- During conversion, the system splits each page into a background layer and a text layer: the background layer removes the original text and performs restoration, while the text layer detects text via OCR and reconstructs it as editable text boxes, finally merging them into a PPTX that preserves the original appearance.
- Provides three conversion modes: Standard conversion is suitable for text editing on simple backgrounds; Advanced clean conversion is suitable for cases where text is overlaid on complex textures, illustrations, or gradients; Fully editable PPT is for scenarios where visual elements such as icons, shapes, and decorations also need to be individually selected, moved, scaled, or replaced.
- Supports merging multiple PNG/JPG images into one PPTX without first creating a PDF; existing multi-page PDFs can also be uploaded directly.
- Provides a manual adjustment mode, allowing users to add, delete, move, scale, or merge text boxes themselves before export.

- The system automatically completes page splitting, text recognition, and reconstruction, and generates an editable PPTX.
- After downloading, you can check the recognized text, fonts, and line breaks.
- You can choose the paragraph merge feature to merge related text boxes for whole-paragraph editing; you can also enable original-quality background to use PNG to reduce compression loss, but the file will be larger and processing slower.
- Regarding fonts, Microsoft YaHei has good compatibility; Source Han Sans needs to be installed on the viewing computer.

Limitations and notes
- Standard conversion and Advanced clean conversion mainly restore editable text; non-text visual elements remain in the background and cannot be moved individually.
- Icons, shapes, and decorations in Fully editable PPT will not be reconstructed as native PowerPoint vectors, and chart data will not be automatically restored.
- Only supportsPDF, PNG/JPG, and pure image-based PPTX with only one full-page image per page; mixed PPTX containing native text boxes, shapes, or multiple images does not meet the pure-image import requirements.
- The free upload limit for a single file is 35MB; paid users or redemption code users can upload up to 150MB. Large file uploads and conversions may take longer.
- Uploaded files are used only for the current conversion. Files for Standard, Advanced clean, and Fully editable PPT are retained for 24 hours and then automatically deleted. Files are transmitted via HTTPS.
- Standard conversion, paragraph merge, and original-quality background are permanently free; watermark mode and manual adjustment are also free, but are subject to file size and daily upload limits. Advanced clean conversion and Fully editable are charged per page.
