About this tool

Event Presence Index MCP Server is an MCP server wrapper provided by Mamba Labs for the Event Presence Index actor on the Apify platform. It enables MCP-capable clients to call this actor through a standard protocol, so as to find, based on a company domain, the third-party conferences and trade shows that the company has publicly stated it attended.

Purpose: Given a company domain, return the third-party conferences and trade shows that the company has publicly stated it attended, and resolve the year for each event as much as possible, with the results output as single-row flat data. Conferences hosted by the company itself are reported separately and are not mixed into the attendance list.

Main capabilities: Provides the map_company_event_presence tool, which takes a company domain as input and outputs the events that the company claims to have attended. It can find events for roughly 2 out of every 10 companies, and every event returned is real. An empty result means that the company has not publicly released relevant information, rather than being a guess. The output includes fields such as coverage, fetch_status, and queries_failed, which are used to distinguish between "the company has not published any information" and "the search was unable to see it." Events outside the requested year range are still returned and marked, so you need to filter them yourself based on the event year.

How to use: You first need to obtain an Apify token at console.apify.com/account/integrations. This server is a lightweight client for the Apify actor; it passes the input through as-is and returns the actor's output, and all behavior is implemented by the actor. Errors (such as invalid input, invalid token, insufficient balance, timeout, or a run that does not return a dataset) are presented as explicit tool errors and are not swallowed.

Use cases: Suitable for scenarios that require quickly understanding a company's public attendance record from its domain, such as market research, sales lead analysis, or competitive intelligence gathering.

Limitations: This tool is not an event database, not a ticketing information source, and not a conference directory or exhibitor list. It targets only a single company and reports that company's public attendance information. Pricing is charged by the number of companies analyzed, plus a small actor startup fee; repeated runs within the 21-day cache window are not charged extra, and specific prices are shown on the actor's Apify page. Running this server consumes Apify credits. This wrapper uses the MIT license.
