NeuroDock is a local-first cognitive support tool for neurodivergent professionals, built together with the neurodivergent community. It connects to MCP-enabled clients such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Cursor through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) protocol, providing Claude with memory, time awareness, corporate vague-language translation, and guardrails that refuse to amplify rumination, hyperfocus, and sycophancy.
The main capabilities are divided into three pillars:
- Cognitive foundation: externalizing executive function, including time awareness (chronometric), memory (cognitive-graph), and task breakdown (task-fractionator).
- Communication layer: translating corporate vague language, rewriting outgoing messages to match tone, and structuring meeting notes. A browser extension can translate inline in Gmail, Slack, Linear, Notion, GitHub, Google Docs, and Outlook.
- Clinical guardrails: detecting and intervening in rumination (repeated verification loops), hyperfocus (session duration escalation reminders), and sycophancy (unconditional agreement). The heuristic rules are publicly auditable.
How to use: install six MCP servers and automatically configure clients with a single command. Requires Python 3.11+ and Node 22+, and supports macOS, Linux, and Windows. After installation, you must fully quit and restart Claude to read the MCP configuration. Proactive guardrails can optionally be enabled, automatically reminding when patterns are triggered through Claude Code hooks or a standalone daemon. It can also be used through the Claude Code plugin, Claude Desktop extension (.mcpb), the official MCP registry, or a hosted remote server (mcp.neurodock.org).
Use cases: when neurodivergent professionals (self-identification is sufficient, no diagnosis required) use Claude in their daily work, they gain memory assistance, time management, task breakdown, corporate language translation, and guardrails against harmful thought patterns.
Limitations: local-first, cloud features must be explicitly enabled; the browser extension is not yet available in stores and must be loaded manually; some features (such as neurodock-clinical) are still placeholders; the hosted remote server provides only stateless tools, and personal cognitive graphs and neurotype profiles always remain local.
