Purpose
This MCP server is used to resolve a company domain or company name into the corresponding LinkedIn company page URL. It wraps the Mamba Labs Domain to LinkedIn URL Resolver actor on the Apify platform, returning Clay-ready flat JSON rows to any MCP client. Resolution results come with a confidence score to help judge how trustworthy they are.
Main capabilities
- Based on a company domain or company name, find the matching LinkedIn company URL in public search results, without requesting linkedin.com pages.
- Returns confidence: high, medium, low.
- Also returns the company's Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube links, with all information merged into one row.
- When includeFirmographics is set to true, reads company firmographic information from search result snippets: employee count (employee_count_approx), industry, headquarters location (hq_location), follower count (follower_count), and company description (company_description). This option is off by default; when off or when the snippet does not state it, the corresponding fields are null.
- Supports passing in a list of domains to resolve multiple domains in one call, with one row per domain, and the results can be used directly in Clay, CRM, or AI agent workflows.
- Resolution runs entirely on Apify; this package is only a lightweight client that calls the actor and returns the results.
Usage
Requires Node.js 18 or later, and an Apify account with an API token.
Add the following configuration to the Claude Desktop configuration file: (No specific configuration code was provided in the original text, so it is not provided here.)
Get a token: visit https://console.apify.com/account/integrations , paste the token, and restart Claude Desktop. After that, the resolve_linkedin_url tool will be available.
Tool parameters:
- company_domain (optional): bare company domain, without https://,无尾部斜杠。示例:stripe.com
- company_name (optional): company name.
- domains (optional, array): list of bare domains to resolve in one run, one row per domain.
- batchSize (optional, integer): number of domains to resolve at a time, 1 to 10, default 2.
- includeFirmographics (optional, boolean): whether to read employee_count_approx, industry, hq_location, follower_count, and company_description from search result snippets. No requests are sent to LinkedIn. Default false. When off or when the snippet does not state it, these fields are null. Also accepts the string forms "true" and "false".
- skipCache (optional, boolean): ignore the 7-day cache and resolve again. Default false. Also accepts the string form.
Provide at least one of company_domain, company_name, or domains. If both a domain and a name are provided, the domain takes precedence.
The tool returns one flat JSON row per company: company_domain, company_name, linkedin_company_url, linkedin_slug, resolution_method, confidence (high, medium, or low), facebook_url, instagram_url, twitter_url, youtube_url, and the firmographic fields employee_count_approx, industry, hq_location, follower_count, company_description (null unless includeFirmographics is true), plus slug_mismatch, run_date, degraded, degradation_reason.
Example run (requires includeFirmographics to be set to true): (No specific run command was provided in the original text, so it is not provided here.)
Use cases
- Fill in missing LinkedIn URLs for Clay native enrichment.
- Resolve company LinkedIn pages in bulk inside CRM or AI-agent workflows.
- Query company LinkedIn URLs and profile information through MCP clients (such as Claude Desktop) using natural-language prompts.
- Example prompts: "Find the LinkedIn page for stripe.com." "What is the LinkedIn company URL for openai.com? Include the confidence score." "Resolve the company named Figma to its LinkedIn URL and firmographics." "Get the LinkedIn URL, employee count, and industry for datadoghq.com, with firmographics on." "Resolve the LinkedIn pages for stripe.com, notion.so, and figma.com."
Limitations
- Requires Node.js 18+ and an Apify API token.
- Resolution relies on public search results (Brave, then Bing), checked against slug variants implied by the domain; no requests are sent to linkedin.com.
- Company profile fields only have values when includeFirmographics is true and they are explicitly stated in search result snippets; otherwise they are null.
- Pay per event on Apify. Specific pricing is not yet provided.
- The tool starts an actor run and polls until completion; long-running runs will not be cut off at 300 seconds. Unsuccessful runs are returned as an error with the run ID and status.
- This server is a lightweight client and does not contain resolution logic. For the full input/output reference, pricing, and run history, see the Apify Store page:https://apify.com/mambalabs/domain-to-linkedin-url-resolver
This server is part of the Mamba Labs GTM Suite, which includes twelve specialized MCP servers for go-to-market signal intelligence, each backed by a dedicated Apify actor.
