OnlinClipboard is a free temporary online clipboard for quickly copy-pasting text, images, and files between different devices. It does not require registration or login, and its core goal is to complete a one-time, short-term transfer of content between a PC and a phone, or a tablet and a work computer, rather than long-term storage or collaboration.
Purpose and applicable scenarios: When you need to send a URL, a piece of text, a screenshot, a PDF, or an ordinary file from one device to another, you can create a one-time share. The share link is available for up to 24 hours and is designed to be successfully retrieved only once, after which it enters the deletion process. It is suitable for cross-device clipboard synchronization, securely sharing short-term content with others, and avoiding emailing notes to yourself or logging into cloud drives.
Main capabilities: Supports three content types—text, images, and files. Text is suitable for notes, addresses, code snippets, instructions, and links; images are suitable for screenshots or photos; files support documents, archives, and more, with a maximum size of 300 MB per file. When creating a share, you can choose a 4-digit or 6-digit numeric password. Shares can be located via link, QR code, or password: links are suitable when a full URL can be sent or scanned, 4/6-digit passwords are suitable for dictating or manually entering on nearby devices, and QR codes are suitable for scenarios from desktop to mobile.
How to use: On the homepage, select Text, Image, or File, paste or upload the content (files up to 300 MB), choose a 4-digit or 6-digit password length, and then create the share. Keep the generated link, password, or QR code until the recipient completes the one-time retrieval. The recipient can open the link or use Retrieve Share to enter the password to obtain the content. A share is marked as used after the first successful retrieval and enters the deletion process; shares that are not retrieved are deleted after 24 hours by a scheduled cleanup task.
Data and security: Transmission uses HTTPS, share metadata and text are processed in Cloudflare D1, and uploaded images and files are stored in Cloudflare R2. Access is handled by the application Worker based on the generated share information. After successful retrieval, the record is marked as used and the related deletion process begins; expired items are removed by a scheduled task. Temporary storage can reduce exposure, but no internet service can promise absolute security, and the recipient can save or forward the content after opening it. Do not upload passwords, recovery codes, medical records, financial information, or anything that would cause serious harm if leaked. For important content, confirm that the recipient has saved it before closing; used or expired shares cannot be recovered through the product.
Limitations and notes: The core clipboard does not require an account or login, but using it without login is not the same as being completely anonymous; infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser details, and security events for transmission and abuse prevention. Public pages may use analytics or advertising managed with consent; private direct links with the s parameter do not initialize Google Analytics or AdSense. The current upload limit is 300 MB per image or file share, and actual success also depends on the network connection, browser, device memory, and available request time; uploads close to the limit may fail on slow or unstable networks. This tool is intended for occasional transfers and is not suitable for bulk uploads, long-term hosting, or distributing large files to many recipients. It is not a replacement for a backup service, team workspace, password manager, or encrypted messaging system, and it has no share history or recovery interface. If a document needs repeated access, version control, or named permissions, a dedicated service should be used.
