About this tool

TripGo MCP Server is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server used to wrap the TripGo API, providing multimodal trip planning and related transportation information query capabilities. The project is developed by skedgo, and the code is hosted on GitHub.

Main capabilities The MCP server provides the following tools:

  • tripgo-locations: Retrieve transportation-related locations.
  • tripgo-departures: Query departure information for specific public transport stops.
  • tripgo-routing: Perform mixed and multimodal trip planning.
  • tripgo-get-trip-url: Retrieve the trip URL previously calculated by the tripgo-routing tool.

How to use The MCP server is deployed on Cloudflare Workers and can be connected directly via the remote URL:https://tripgo-mcp-server.skedgo-account.workers.dev/mcp .

You can also connect to the remote MCP server from a local MCP client by using the mcp-remote proxy. To connect from Claude Desktop, follow Anthropic's Quickstart, and in Claude Desktop go to Settings > Developer > Edit Config, and use the corresponding configuration. After restarting Claude, the tools will be available.

Local development and deployment To run locally, copy .env.example and rename it to .env, set the API key; use npm install to install dependencies; use npm run dev:local to start the server; then configure Claude. The project is deployed via GHA. To deploy locally, you can run the corresponding command.

Use cases Suitable for scenarios that need to integrate multimodal trip planning, real-time public transport departure information, transportation location queries, and other capabilities into AI assistants or MCP clients.

Limitations Detailed information about the project's specific limitations, charging model, pricing, platform support scope, effectiveness, etc. is not provided in the materials.
