Brat-Gen is a free Brat-style cover generator (Brat Generator), inspired by Charli XCX's album "Brat" and aimed at users who want to quickly create Brat-style text images, lyric covers, meme materials, and social media graphics. Its official page describes it as a free toolkit for Charli XCX fans, integrating a lyrics generator, text generator, font generator, and meme presets.
In terms of use, Brat-Gen is mainly used to generate Brat-style square covers or text images. The official description mentions that it can be used to create lyrics, text, font styles, memes, album covers, and more, and can be shared directly to X, TikTok, Instagram, or Discord. The website also provides a blog with content including Brat meme templates, Brat color schemes, Brat generation tool comparisons, a Brat Summer fashion guide, and usage tips.
The main capabilities include: entering up to 50 characters of text, with real-time preview on the canvas; choosing from nine background colors, including Brat Green (#8ACE00), White (#FFFFFF), Black (#000000), Blue (#0000FF), Bright Yellow (#E5ED23), Vivid Purple (#BA51B6), Cyan (#00CED1), Gold (#FFD700), and Hot Pink (#FF69B4); choosing text alignment (left, right, center, justified); using a bold font inspired by Charli XCX's Brat album; downloading a PNG after generation; and sharing directly via X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram, or the mobile browser share function. There is an inconsistency in the official text regarding download size: one place says 1000x1000 PNG, and another says 500x500 PNG; both descriptions are retained here as in the original text.
In terms of usage, the official steps are: enter up to 50 characters in the text box and preview immediately on the canvas; choose a background color; choose an alignment; download a high-quality PNG with one click; and share directly to social platforms, with the browser share function available on mobile. The website emphasizes that no registration or login is required, and there are no watermarks (the official text says "without logins or watermarks").
SuitIn terms of use cases, the official description includes making memes, wallpapers, social posts, blog images, YouTube thumbnails, client covers, marketing campaign materials, and more. Target users include social media users, graphic designers, music fans, YouTube content creators, Brat fans, Gen Z trend followers, and marketers, among others.
In terms of limitations, the official information does not provide details about costs, paid plans, or pricing, stating only that it is completely free; it does not provide explanations of features such as an API, batch generation, or advanced export formats; the text input limit is 50 characters; the background color is nine fixed colors. The download size is inconsistent in the official text, so actual use should prevail. Other information such as platform compatibility, browser requirements, and whether there is a usage limit is not yet provided.
The website also lists entrances to other tools, such as Brat Word Generator, String Art Generator, Merge JPG Images, as well as an introduction page about Brat Album.
