Aistartupinsights is a real-time, structured database that records what AI startups are actually doing, covering funding, hiring, product launches, and pricing changes. Data is ingested every four hours, synthesized into briefs, and made accessible via API. The platform is positioned as a briefing desk for operators who need to understand the real dynamics of the AI ecosystem, rather than rumors on social media. It currently tracks 2,471 companies.
The main capabilities cover four areas: first, it integrates SEC filings, job boards, changelogs, Crunchbase changes, GitHub activity, and pricing page diffs into a single company record, updated automatically; second, every Monday it provides a one-page change report explaining who changed, who is hiring, and who has ceased operations, with links back to the original sources; third, it supports filtered queries by stage, vertical, geographic region, infrastructure stack, and other dimensions; fourth, it is API-first, with a JSON endpoint for every record, every signal, and every diff, making it easy to build custom watchlists, alerts, or internal briefings.
In terms of usage, the platform operates in three steps: crawl, deduplicate, and timestamp every public signal; use an LLM layer to cluster noise into structured facts; finally, users get daily briefs, a real-time dashboard, and the API. The data update frequency is: high-frequency signals (pricing, job posts) every four hours; filings and funding every 24 hours; content flagged by the model as ambiguous is manually reviewed daily.
Use cases include: VCs, product leads, and founders who need to understand competitor activity without spending ten to fifteen hours a week searching manually; they can define watch conditions using natural language queries, for example, "any vertical AI company in healthcare hiring a compliance lead," and receive alerts via Slack or email on the Team plan.
Limitations and notes: data comes only from public sources and does not scrape data behind login walls; about 38% of tracked companies are outside North America, with Europe and Singapore strongest and China coverage relatively thin; access requires an application, and new accounts are opened gradually to maintain data quality and control costs, with a response within 48 hours. The platform offers three tiers: weekly reports and a read-only dashboard; full filtering, full history, and custom watchlists; 5 seats, API, Slack alerts, and export. Pricing information is not yet available.
