About this tool

verychic-mcp is an unofficial, read-only MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for accessing VeryChic's limited-time hotel deals. It lets users search, filter, and query the prices and availability of VeryChic hotel deals from any MCP-capable client.

Purpose The server is aimed at personal, low-frequency browsing needs, helping users browse VeryChic's current limited-time deals directly within an AI assistant, and filter and view prices by criteria. It only searches and reads deal information; it does not book, does not log in, and does not use any credentials.

Main capabilities

  • Browse current VeryChic limited-time deals.
  • Filter by destination, country, price, discount, star rating, flights, theme, or distance, and sort the results.
  • Read the detailed content of a deal; for hotel deals, you can also view day-by-day availability and prices.
  • Support querying prices by month, for example passing months: ["02/2027", "03/2027"] to view prices outside the default window.
  • Provides availabilities_by_month, with one row per month showing inventory, making it cheap to read across a wider month window.

Tools

  • verychic_search_offers: returns deals matching all passed filters (filters are combined with AND).
  • verychic_offer_details: returns the full content of a single deal; for hotels it also returns day-by-day availability and prices.

Usage Add the server to your MCP client configuration. After installing uv, no cloning or installation is needed, and it can be run via uvx. The server runs over stdio and is suitable for local clients such as Claude Desktop and Claude Code. The same command/argument combination works for all stdio clients, only the outer configuration differs.

For cloud clients such as claude.ai or Cowork, they can only connect to remote MCP servers over HTTPS and cannot connect to local processes. In this case, you need to host it yourself in streamable-http mode (verychic-mcp --transport streamable-http, behind HTTPS) and add it as a custom connector, pasting the deployment URL with the /mcp path.An official public instance is also provided https://verychic-mcp.fly.dev/mcp for quick trials, but this instance is best-effort and may be paused or rate-limited at any time; when going beyond quick-trial use, it is recommended to run your own instance.

  • "Search for VeryChic deals in Spain under 600 euros."
  • "Find five-star spa hotels with at least a 40% discount, sorted by price from low to high."
  • "Show VeryChic deals within 300 km of Paris (48.8566, 2.3522), sorted by distance from nearest to farthest."

Data model Deals carry a source (ORCHESTRA for hotels, ORCHESTRA_TO for packages) and an external_id, both returned by verychic_search_offers, and the assistant can pass them to verychic_offer_details itself. The result of verychic_search_offers is a list of deal objects. verychic_offer_details additionally returns gallery, included_added_values, cheapest_price, guest ratings, a monthly price summary, and day-by-day availability for hotels.

Technical implementation The VeryChic web app and https://api.verychic.com/verychic-endpoints/v1(以及 communication with the public JSON API under search.verychic.com). The server uses a browser-like TLS fingerprint (curl_cffi) to replay these calls, parses the responses into typed objects, and exposes them as MCP tools. All operations require no login. The only volatile request parameter, channelVersion, is read from the live site at startup, falling back to a known value if the read fails.

Release method Releases are tag-driven. Pushing a vX.Y.Z tag runs tests, builds the package, and publishes to PyPI via GitHub Actions using trusted publishing, so no tokens are stored.

Use cases Suitable for individual users to quickly browse and compare VeryChic hotel deals in an AI assistant, for example filtering by budget, destination, star rating, or discount, and viewing prices for specific dates.

Limitations and disclaimer

  • This tool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected in any way to VeryChic or VeryChic SAS. It is an independent community tool for personal use only, reading VeryChic's public Web API in the same way a browser does.
  • Users must comply with VeryChic's terms of sale on their own, especially Article 9 regarding intellectual property and the sui generis rights of database makers.
  • Use at your own risk, for personal and low-frequency browsing only. It must not be used for bulk extraction or redistribution of VeryChic's data.
  • A conservative request rate limit is built in (at least 1 second between requests).
  • The public instance is best-effort and may be paused or rate-limited at any time.
  • This tool will not appear in Anthropic's official connector directory, which is reserved for reviewed partner integrations.
  • Package-type deals (ORCHESTRA_TO) bundle flights with hotels and do not provide per-day prices; in this case availabilities_supported is set to false, and an empty availabilities means "this deal type is not supported" rather than "no available dates."
