Purpose

Usage

Configuration
Many AI clients use configuration files to manage MCP servers. The authenticator-mcp tool can be configured by adding the following configuration to the configuration file.
Note: Using this server requires creating an Authenticator App access token. For instructions on how to create an access token, see the related materials. Alternatively, you can set AUTHENTICATOR_ACCESS_TOKEN in the env field.
The Authenticator App · 2FA desktop version must be installed.
Creating an Access Token
- Launch the Authenticator App · 2FA desktop version.
- Go to "Settings" and find the "MCP Server" section.
- Toggle the MCP Server switch to ON to enable it, then generate an access token.
Please note that the access token is displayed only once. Be sure to copy it immediately and add it to the MCP client configuration.
