ImageBlaster is a browser-based 3D scene generation tool whose core function is to convert a scene image into an interactive 3D world. Users can complete the entire process from upload, generation, preview to download without leaving the browser.
Purpose ImageBlaster is aimed at users who need to quickly convert 2D scene images into 3D environments. It can convert landscapes, interior spaces, or illustrated scenes into 3D environments for game prototyping, environmental concept exploration, location planning, and worldbuilding reference, among other uses.
Main capabilities
- Generate a Gaussian-splat 3D environment from a single scene image, with optional scene orientation input.
- Provide an interactive 3D preview where users can rotate, zoom, and explore the generated world.
- Support viewing a panorama preview and saving the panorama for reference or later creation.
- Download Gaussian splat files in .spz format, with multiple resolution variants.
- Download a .glb collider mesh for spatial layout and collision workflows. This mesh is an environment mesh, not a standalone product model.
- Generate scene thumbnails.
How to use
- Open the ImageBlaster studio and upload a scene image. JPG, PNG, or WebP formats are supported, with a file size of no more than 3 MB. Landscapes, interiors, and illustrated environments are all valid starting points.
- Optionally add a scene orientation description, then click the generate button to start creating the 3D environment.
- Track generation progress on the page. Once generation is complete, you can rotate, zoom, and explore the 3D world, view the panorama, and download files.
- Refresh the page to restore the most recent task. The most recent task progress and download links are retained in the same browser for up to 7 days, so it is recommended to save files promptly once they are ready.
Use cases
- Game prototyping: convert concept photos or reference shots into walkable 3D blockout models, then proceed with manual modeling.
- Environmental concepts: expand drawn landscape or room concepts into environments for further visual exploration.
- Location planning: use the generated panorama and scene mesh to explore the atmosphere and layout of a possible scene.
- Worldbuilding reference: starting from a single reference image, explore a location as a 3D space to help visualize layout and scale.
Limitations
- The generation process may take several minutes.
- Output quality depends on the input image and the model.
- The uploaded image size is limited to 3 MB, and formats are limited to JPG, PNG, or WebP.
- The downloaded .glb file is an environment collider mesh, not a standalone product model.
- The most recent task progress and download links are retained only in the same browser for up to 7 days.
- More information about charging, pricing, platform support, etc. is not yet provided in the materials.
