Mobius Studio MCP Server (npm package name mobius-studio-mcp) is an MCP server used to let AI agents operate WordPress sites running the Sweipe or FlatMobile theme. It supports Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any MCP client.

Purpose The server is aimed at WordPress sites using the Sweipe and FlatMobile themes, helping AI agents complete site setup and content maintenance work, including: importing demo content, planning and building a site from a short description, rewriting the copy of existing pages, reviewing results, and changing core settings.

How to use

1. On the site, operate as an administrator: go to "Users → Profile → Application Passwords", add a password named mcp, and copy it.
2. Make sure the theme license is activated (Sweipe → License), and that AI is enabled (Sweipe → AI).
3. Add the server to your client. Claude Desktop / Cursor (mcpServers entry): Application passwords require HTTPS; on a local http:// site, add add_filter( 'wp_is_application_passwords_available', '__return_true' ); to a must-use plugin.
4. The server also works with FlatMobile sites: the server reads the site's REST index and chooses sweipe/v1 or flatmobile/v1 on its own (can be overridden with SWEIPE_NAMESPACE).
5. Optional: SWEIPE_IMPORT_BUDGET (the number of seconds the server spends on each import step, default 25, maximum 55; lower this value if the host terminates long requests).

Technical details The server communicates with the theme plugin's sweipe/v1/agent REST interface (Companion 1.2.1+) through WordPress application passwords. The AI itself runs on the theme's service and is paid for by the site license's monthly quota, with no API key required. Every operation the server performs is a call to https://example.com/wp-json/sweipe/v1/agent/… , using Basic authentication; these routes are listed at the top of the plugin's plugin/Services/Ai/AgentApi.php. Any script can use them directly.

Limitations

• Import steps have a default 25-second and maximum 55-second time budget limit, and may be affected by host long-request limits.
