JGS SysML v1 MCP Bridge is an AI-to-CATIA Magic bridge tool developed by JG Systems Consulting Ltd., used to expose SysML v1 models to AI agents. It is based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling Claude Code and any MCP agent to directly operate live SysML v1 models in CATIA Magic through a local, air-gapped connection, without cloud services or model export.
Main capabilities: Provides more than 130 tools for querying, auditing, and editing real models, covering elements such as blocks, requirements, allocations, and diagrams. It supports exploring models, auditing requirement coverage, writing changes under a PRO license, and generating diagrams.
Usage: Installation is divided into two parts. First, copy the CATIA Magic plugin JAR from the plugin/ directory to the CATIA Magic plugins directory and restart; second, install the Python MCP server via pip install ./server. It can also be installed from the Claude Code marketplace: the repository contains a Claude Code plugin manifest, which can be added as a marketplace and installed from within Claude Code, but the desktop steps (copying the JAR, restarting) still need to be performed locally. After installation, AI agents can interact with the model through the MCP protocol. For detailed installation instructions, see docs/install.md; for usage instructions, see docs/usage.md; for the tool reference, see docs/TOOL-REFERENCE.md.
Applicable scenarios: Suitable for engineers and teams using CATIA Magic Systems of Systems Architect 2026x for SysML v1 modeling who want to use AI agents to assist with model querying, auditing, and editing in a local, secure environment.
Limitations and requirements: Requires CATIA Magic Systems of Systems Architect 2026x and Python 3.11 or later. The software is proprietary licensed, offering FREE, PRO, and ENTERPRISE tiers; specific feature differences and pricing are not provided for now. Commercial or academic licenses must be applied for from JG Systems Consulting Ltd. Security vulnerabilities should be reported through a private security advisory; do not publicly submit issues or send keys via email.
