About this tool

Purpose

Company Social Presence Mapper MCP Server is an MCP server that exposes Mamba Labs' Company Social Presence Mapper as a single tool. Installing one package lets MCP clients convert a company domain into that company's official social media URLs and follower counts. It wraps the Mamba Labs actor on Apify and returns Clay-ready flat JSON.

Key Capabilities

The server provides one tool for AI clients:

  • map_company_social_presence: maps a company domain to its official URLs and follower counts on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Profiles are discovered via the company's own homepage links, web search fallback, and pattern guessing, then verified against the company. Follower counts are extracted when publicly visible.

All work runs on Apify. This package is a lightweight client that routes tool calls to the actor and returns results.

Usage

Requires Node.js 18 or higher, and an Apify account with an API token.

Add the following to the Claude Desktop configuration (the original text does not provide a specific configuration snippet). At https://console.apify.com/account/integrations get a token, paste it in, then restart Claude Desktop. The tool is then ready to use.

Tool Input

map_company_social_presence:

  • company_domain(string): a bare company domain, for example stripe.com. Provide this or company_name。
  • company_name(string): optional company name. Improves search accuracy and disambiguation. Provide this or company_domain。
  • platforms(array): the platforms to map, optionally any of linkedin, x, instagram, facebook, youtube. Defaults to all five.
  • includeFollowerCounts(boolean): scrape profile pages to extract follower counts (default true). Set to false to return only URLs, which is cheaper.
  • skipCache(boolean): force a fresh query, ignoring the 7-day result cache.

Example Prompts

  • "Map the social presence of stripe.com across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube."
  • "Find the official social profiles and follower counts for gitlab.com."
  • "What are Notion's LinkedIn and YouTube follower counts?"
  • "Map only the LinkedIn and X profiles for twilio.com."

Output

One flat row per company:company_domain、company_name、platforms_checked、platforms_found, and for each of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube its <platform>_url、<platform>_followers、<platform>_discovery、<platform>_status, plus confidence、run_date、degraded、degradation_reason.

Use Cases

Suitable for scenarios that need to quickly convert a company domain into official social profiles and follower counts, such as sales and marketing intelligence, lead enrichment, Clay table data preparation, and automated queries via MCP clients such as Claude Desktop.

Limitations

  • Coverage notes: X / Twitter returns only the profile URL; its follower count requires authentication, which this server does not use. Instagram and Facebook follower counts are best-effort and may be null when the page hides them.
  • Billing: Company Social Presence Mapper is pay-per-event on Apify.
  • The tool starts an actor run and polls until completion, so long runs are not truncated at 300 seconds. Unsuccessful runs are returned as errors with their run ID and status.
  • For the full input/output reference, pricing, and run history, see the Company Social Presence Mapper actor on the Apify Store:https://apify.com/mambalabs/company-social-presence-mapper
  • This wrapper uses the immutable ID 4k6CCemkgBDz18m2h calls the actor, so renaming the Store will not break it.
  • This server is part of the Mamba Labs GTM Suite, which includes twelve specialized MCP servers for go-to-market signal intelligence, each backed by a dedicated Apify actor.
