funding-mcp (package name @usenami/funding-mcp) is an MCP server for AI agents, used to fetch perpetual contract funding rates and cross-venue spread data across multiple venues. Its positioning is to provide any MCP-supporting AI agent with a named, schema-based data interface covering funding rates, liquidity, open interest, fund flows, basis, and RWA (real-world asset) data, with the backend supported by Usenami's real-time API.
Main capabilities: coverage of more than 20 exchanges, including Binance, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid, Aster, Lighter, and Hyperliquid HIP-3 sub-DEXs, the latter covering markets such as stocks, metals, crude oil, forex, indices, and Pre-IPO synthetic assets that CoinGecko, CMC, and Coinglass have not yet aggregated. It provides perpetual contract funding rates and cross-venue spread data across multiple venues, and can be paired with @usenami/signer-mcp for keyless execution.
Usage: integrate it as an MCP server into an MCP-supporting AI agent. Paid tools settle via the x402 protocol in USDC on the Base chain. After setting X402_PRIVATE_KEY (a Base wallet holding USDC), paid tools will automatically pay and return data; if it is not set, paid tools will return x402 payment requirements, and any x402-supporting client can pay and retry. The funding_screener tool is free and requires no wallet. Optional environment variables include USENAMI_API_BASE (default https://api.usenami.io)和 X402_PRIVATE_KEY (a Base wallet holding USDC 0x…, enabling built-in automatic payment for paid tools).
Applicable scenarios: scenarios that require an AI agent to obtain multi-exchange perpetual contract funding rates, cross-venue spreads, liquidity, open interest, fund flows, basis, and RWA data, especially market data involving harder-to-aggregate markets such as HIP-3 sub-DEXs.
Limitations: funding_arb is a naive scan and does not include fees, latency, or execution timing factors, and should be regarded as a candidate list rather than trading advice. The materials do not provide installation commands, pricing details, a specific tool list, or a list of supported MCP clients.
