Purpose
Dashi PPT Skill (Master PPT / Web PPT / Editable PPTX) is an AI Agent PPT skill designed for workplace scenarios. After handing over a document to the AI Agent, it can generate a presentation, and each page comes with its own editing console, so anything unsatisfactory can be modified directly in the browser, and after making changes you can export it with one click as a real, editable PPTX.
Main Capabilities
- Themes and layouts: 12 built-in themes covering a variety of PPT use cases and styles; 1020 layouts in total, with each theme having its own independent page structure and visual language, including 20 page roles (cover, table of contents, metrics, trends, comparison, process, risks, ending, etc.).
- Charts and analysis models: Provides radar charts, waterfall charts, treemaps, funnels, heatmaps, Sankey diagrams, Gantt charts, as well as layout templates for analysis models such as SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, PEST, Business Model Canvas, and Double Diamond.
- In-browser editing: Each page comes with a console, providing editing space across more than 20 dimensions - content, layout, number of modules, page focus, preset color schemes, and page-turn animations; any text can be edited with a click; image and video slots can be replaced by clicking or dragging, with automatic compression on upload.
- Page management: The thumbnail directory on the left supports drag-and-drop reordering, and pages can be skipped, deleted, or duplicated; the top bar allows one-click entry into presentation mode, switching between light and dark themes, and resetting all changes.
- Export and deliverable forms: Supports one-click export to an offline HTML package / PDF / editable PPTX. The HTML version has expressive features such as entrance animations, page-turn animations, interactive controls, and light/dark mode switching; when exporting to PPTX, it restores node by node, and text remains editable. You can also skip the intermediate HTML state and have the Agent directly generate a PPTX file.
How to Use
- Describe your needs: topic, audience, number of pages, and the conclusions you want to highlight.
- Choose a style: The Skill will display 12 style previews to choose from, and also confirm whether images / videos are needed.
- Automatic drafting: The Skill organizes the requirements into structured content and designs the corresponding PPT plan.
- Edit as you go: Change text, replace images, adjust the number of modules, and switch color schemes, with changes saved automatically.
- Delivery: You can ask the Agent to change the style and adjust details, and once satisfied, export the desired format.
Installation and updating use the same command, and rerunning it updates in place (installed dependencies are automatically retained); you can also ask the AI Agent to help with installation. Environment requirements: Node.js 20+ and npm; exporting PPTX / PDF requires Chrome / Chromium / Edge to be installed locally (the CHROME_PATH environment variable can be used to specify it).
Use cases
Industry research / financing review / competitive analysis / trend reports / project reporting / solution presentations / roadshow materials / internal training—when you need to quickly produce a presentation that is structurally complete, visually consistent, and can still be further edited.
Limitations and notes
- Not suitable for: scenarios that require pixel-by-pixel manual visual customization.
- Current custom styling is limited to a specific scope (the official documentation states this is intentional, prioritizing stable output over free color selection).
- Generation cost: a 10-page PPT has been measured at about 100,000 tokens (varying with document length and the number of back-and-forth revisions); based on a rough estimate using the Codex 5-hour quota window, it is enough to generate about 10 sets.
- Zero upload at the content level: document and PPT content will not be sent to any server; generation, editing, and export are all completed locally, and the finished product can be opened offline. Only two things connect to the internet: npm automatically installing dependencies on first generation; and a silent version check after the task is completed (it only fetches the latest version number and does not upload any content). The local preview service is accessible within the same LAN by default, for browsing only, and the export interface is open only to the local machine.
- Platform compatibility: the official documentation lists only platforms that have been tested, which does not mean it is limited to these (the specific platform list was not fully provided in the materials).
