About this tool

DraftCall MCP Server is a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that specifically provides NFL fantasy football data, covering the 2026 season. Its endpoint address is https://draftcall.io/mcp,采用 streamable HTTP transport, stateless, no authentication required. The service is free, read-only, and requires no API key or account. The official documentation is located at https://draftcall.io/mcp-server/。

In terms of use, this server enables MCP-compatible assistants to answer fantasy football-related questions based on real-time data, such as "Should I start Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs in PPR format?" Each tool's returned results embed the draftcall.io URL of the data source, so answers remain citable.

Main capabilities include: providing head-to-head player comparisons, rankings for PPR, half-PPR, and standard formats, positional scarcity, and bye week conflict analysis. All tools are read-only and cannot modify leagues, lineups, or accounts. The scoring_format parameter accepts PPR, half-PPR, and standard; the position parameter accepts QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX, K, and DEF; the week parameter accepts 1 to 18. Player names and statistics are public-domain factual data, and rankings are refreshed daily. Every value is inline-labeled with the season it describes (using 2025 regular-season output until the 2026 season accumulates a usable sample), and every response carries a stats_season field to prevent models from mistaking a completed season for a projection. The server does not publish projections, ADP, or injury status.

In terms of usage, any client that accepts a remote MCP endpoint can use it, with no installation or cloning required. For clients that only support stdio, the repository provides a stdio bridge that forwards newline-delimited JSON-RPC to the same hosted endpoint, so tools, prompts, and resources are exactly the same, and there is still only one server implementation. The bridge is dependency-free, stateless, and can be pointed at a non-production environment by setting DRAFTCALL_MCP_URL. Where the client supports a remote URL, the remote URL should be preferred; the bridge is only a compatibility shim, not the primary path.

The server provides three prompts for clients that display prompts in a picker or slash menu: start_sit, draft_pick, and bye_planning. Each prompt specifies the exact tools to call and the order of calls. In addition, it provides one resource: draftcall://methodology, a markdown page describing how each derived value is calculated, including season baselines, scoring formats, tiers, scarcity, opponent difficulty, and schedule strength.

The main use cases are NFL fantasy football drafting and lineup decision support, such as player comparisons, draft choices, bye week planning, and so on. In terms of limitations: the service is not affiliated with the NFL or NFLPA; it does not provide projections, ADP, or injury status; the data is based on completed seasons until the 2026 season accumulates a sufficient sample. The repository itself (registration manifest and documentation) is under the MIT license, but the DraftCall service, the data it returns, and the DraftCall name are not covered by that license, and use of the endpoint is subject to https://draftcall.io/terms/ constraints, and DraftCall is a trademark of Pizza Robot Studios LLC (USPTO serial number 99762133). The service is built by Pizza Robot Studios LLC, an independent game and app studio based in Los Angeles, and DraftCall also has iOS and Android apps:https://draftcall.io/download/。
