HelloGen is a tool that combines AI image and AI video generation capabilities, focused on "generate by describing it in plain language," with a built-in assistant responsible for planning and quoting.
Purpose Users can generate AI images and videos from a single sentence or a single photo. Image generation is free and unlimited; for video, the Pro and Max plans offer unlimited AI video without consuming credits per clip.
Main capabilities
- Natural language input: Users describe their needs in ordinary language, and the assistant selects the skill on its own, asks at most one follow-up question, and writes the prompt for the model on the user's behalf. Users can also open and edit the prompt themselves at any time.
- See the plan and price first: The model, prompt, and exact credit cost are shown before generation, and rendering begins only after the user confirms the plan and price; failed generations are not charged.
- Iterate with language: You can say things like "make the lighting warmer," "change it to vertical," or "now make it move," and the assistant will remember the user's product, logo, and preferences.
- Multiple models selected on demand: Image models include Nano Banana (Lite / 2 / 2.1 / Pro), Seedream 4.5 / 5, and GPT Image 2; video models include Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2–2.5, MiniMax H3, and HappyHorse, plus MiniMax H3 Unlimited for Pro and Max. The assistant selects the model by task, and users can also request a cheaper or better model.
- No watermark and commercial license: Content generated under all plans is watermark-free and comes with a commercial license.
- Unlimited video (Pro / Max): Video on MiniMax H3 Unlimited does not consume credits and has no daily cap, at 480p (unlimited 720p HD for Max), up to 15 seconds, with generated sound. Each day also guarantees priority-rendered clips (at least 2/day for Pro, 5/day for Max), and clips beyond that render at standard speed. Failed renders are not charged, and clips are likewise commercially usable.
How to use Describe your needs in natural language in the input box, or select a skill; the assistant asks at most one question and provides clickable answers, then shows the model, prompt, and exact credit cost; generation begins after the user approves the plan and price; afterward, you can continue iterating with language. Free and Basic accounts can generate on their own in Studio, and Omni Agent is a feature included with Pro and above plans.

- You can also get started with credit packs starting at $4.90. Video from flagship models consumes credits, because each clip incurs compute costs at the provider; credits come from plans or one-time credit packs.
Use cases Commercial use scenarios that require rapid generation of images or videos, such as product images, brand promotional videos, and short social media videos; suitable for users who do not want to do prompt engineering and want to see the price before generating.
Limitations
- Video from flagship models is billed by credits, and credits come from plans or one-time credit packs.
- The unlimited video resolution for MiniMax H3 Unlimited is 480p, and for Max it is 720p HD, with a maximum duration of 15 seconds.
- There is a guaranteed number of priority-rendered clips per day (at least 2 for Pro, 5 for Max); anything beyond that is rendered at standard speed.
- Other details regarding refunds, storage duration, etc., are not yet provided in the materials.
