About this tool

JotMe is a multilingual AI meeting assistant designed to solve the challenges of real-time communication and post-meeting alignment in cross-language meetings and events. It provides agentic real-time translation, transcription, chat Q&A, and meeting summary generation, supporting more than 200 languages. It is officially stated to be used by 2,000 teams and 500,000 professionals in 134 countries/regions.

Purpose: JotMe is aimed at multilingual operational scenarios, including internal meetings and operations, external meetings and alignment, on-site events and conferences, webinars and virtual meetings, etc. The goal is to enable participants to understand, record, and track content in the language they are familiar with both during and after the meeting.

Main capabilities:

  • Agentic AI real-time translation: The AI agent understands the true intent and meaning of speech in the background, performs real-time translation, and strives to preserve context.
  • Shared real-time translation: Real-time translation can be shared with team members, clients, and audiences, allowing them to participate synchronously in their own language.
  • Speaker-labeled transcription: In real time or by uploading audio and video files, accurate transcription in more than 200 languages can be obtained, with speaker labels.
  • Meeting Q&A: During or after the meeting, users can ask questions in their own language to verify information, clarify decisions, and follow up on matters, without interrupting the team's workflow.
  • AI meeting minutes and summaries: Generate meeting minutes and summaries in each person's own language, understand what actually happened in the meeting, and add memos as well.
  • Shared meeting recordings: Share notes, transcriptions, and audio recordings with colleagues, leaders, clients, partners, and audiences, with each person receiving them in their own language.

How to use: The official instructions are divided into three steps: 1. Download the desktop app, mobile app, or Chrome extension; one installation can be used across multiple meeting and event platforms; 2. It can be used on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, any platform, or offline. JotMe listens, and no bot joins the session; 3. Choose a language and click play. JotMe runs in real time during the session and automatically turns the conversation into insights after the meeting. The official information also mentions that on Mac or Windows, users can log in to JotMe, select the spoken language and target language, and join a Zoom meeting as usual; they can also upload recordings to Audio to Text or Video to Text for transcription, translation, and summary generation.

Security and compliance: It is officially stated that JotMe uses enterprise-grade protection: GDPR compliant, SOC 2 Type II audit in progress; data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with an additional encryption layer for sensitive personal information; recordings and transcriptions will not be used to train JotMe's AI models, nor will they be sold to third parties; users have full control and ownership of their data under the Terms of Service.

Applicable scenarios: Internal meetings and operations (all-hands meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc.), external meetings and alignment (client, partner, supplier meetings), on-site events and conferences (meetings, conferences, panel discussions), webinars and virtual meetings.

Limitations and not yet available: It is officially stated that more than 200 languages are supported as translation target options (in supported non-fast desktop and web workflows), the availability of spoken languages depends on the recognition mode, and fast mode currently provides 13 target languages. The official information does not specify exact pricing amounts, only stating that there is clear pricing for every team size, all plans include agentic AI translation, transcription, and meeting minutes, and upgrades are available on demand. Other specific limitation details are not yet provided.
