PhotoRestore.ai is an AI-based online photo restoration tool focused on restoring old, damaged, and faded photos, and can colorize black-and-white photos. Users can try it for free without registration or a credit card, and results come without watermarks.
Main capabilities:
- Restore old photos: AI can automatically remove scratches, cracks, creases, stains, mildew spots, and discoloration, and seamlessly rebuild missing patterns and textures through "context-aware" inpainting technology, making restoration traces almost invisible.
- Black-and-white colorization: More than simple colorization, the AI analyzes era, lighting, and physical texture to reconstruct historically accurate colors, avoiding cartoonish tones and presenting realistic skin tones and ambient light.
- Face enhancement: Deblurring and detail enhancement for blurry or hard-to-recognize faces.
- All-in-one restoration: Can handle multiple issues at the same time, such as scratches, fading, and blurry faces.
How to use:
- Upload a photo: Drag and drop a scanned photo; supports JPG, PNG, and WEBP formats.
