ToneCraft (tonecraftvo.com) is an AI voiceover, text-to-speech, and transcription studio for narration and long-form text. Its free plan includes 25,000 characters per month; the Creator plan is $7 per month and includes 300,000 characters (about 5.5 hours with standard voices); 26 standard voices are available in all plans, and 30 premium voices are available only in paid plans, consuming 4x the characters. All voices are catalog voices, and voice cloning is not supported.
In terms of features, ToneCraft supports uploading audio or video and extracting speech, generating transcripts with speaker labels, comparing the original view and the cleaned-up view, checking speaker turns, and editing names or lines. The transcription result can be used directly as a script in the same editor to assign voices, generate new audio, and export subtitles with a timeline. It also supports video subtitle editing, allowing you to adjust subtitles, choose colors, resize the video, and add dubbing. 20 languages are supported through 56 multilingual voices, with word-by-word pronunciation control via a custom dictionary.
Audiobook production: You can import PDF, EPUB, Word (DOCX), FB2, TXT, Markdown, or HTML files, up to 100 MB and without DRM; files are read in the browser, and scanned pages are automatically recognized. You can review chapters before billing, rename, merge, split, and exclude front matter and back matter; you can download a single M4B file with chapter markers and cover art for use with BookPlayer, Smart AudioBook Player, Apple Books on Mac, or VLC, or download a ZIP package of chapter MP3s. Billing is by character, with a limit of 1,000,000 characters per book (about 18 hours), and only for books that users own, have permission to use, or that are in the public domain. M4B is not packaged for retail audiobook stores.

Usage restrictions: Fraud, robocalls, deepfake impersonation, or celebrity impersonation are not allowed; generated narration must not be passed off as a real human recording to mislead listeners. Ownership of generated content belongs to the generating account and is fully transferred to the user, and may be used for their own podcasts, audiobooks, videos, and courses.
