Purpose Sponsorship.so is used to accelerate the discovery and management of YouTube sponsorship collaborations. It helps creators, agencies, and brands find sponsorship opportunities, understand which creators competitors are sponsoring, and contact emerging or popular creators.
Main capabilities
- Influencer discovery: Search YouTube influencers by niche, country, audience, and past sponsorship history to quickly generate candidate lists.
- Competitor sponsorship intelligence: Continuously analyze millions of YouTube videos to identify which brands are sponsoring which creators. The platform claims access to over 250,000 YouTube channels mentioning thousands of brands.
- Contact and pricing: Provide a one-click option to obtain contact details (when available) and give sponsorship price estimates.
- AI search: Describe the desired creators, brands, or sponsorship relationships in natural language, and AI search can provide a focused candidate list within seconds, with support for follow-up questions to refine results.
- Campaign management: Track campaign stages in one place with a kanban view, support sharing campaigns and updates with the team, centrally manage creator contacts and notes, and personalize by workflow.
- Automated monitoring: Set alerts for any brand or creator to be notified when brand mentions appear on YouTube, so you can act quickly.
- Programmatic access: Provide an API and MCP server. The API can run AI searches, retrieve channel and brand data, and estimate sponsorship prices; MCP can connect to AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT to retrieve brands and creators in natural language, pull channel data, and estimate prices.
- Add creators: If a creator is not in the database, you can paste the channel link, ID, or @handle on the YouTube channel page, and the platform will scrape their videos and analyze sponsorship activity (without using credits).
How to use
- Subscription required: The platform uses a paid subscription model, and a subscription unlocks the app and sponsorship database. Pricing is public on the pricing page, where you can compare monthly and annual plans and the included credits.
- Credits mechanism: Paid plans include credits each month. Credits are used for AI search, finding contact details not yet included on the platform, and generating AI email replies. Viewing contact details already available on the platform with a paid plan does not consume credits; free accounts consume 1 credit to find these contact details. Failed queries do not consume credits.
- Cancellation and refunds: You can cancel at any time in account settings. Refunds are available within 14 calendar days after purchase, subject to the terms of service.and fair use policy.
- Send email: The page mentions that emails can be sent using AI.
Use cases
- Brands or agencies discover creators in bulk, organize outreach lists, estimate sponsorship costs, and track competitor collaborations.
- Creators look for sponsoring brands, learn about peers' sponsorship situations, and contact brands.
- When agencies manage multiple creators, they can conduct research through programmatic access and MCP-connected AI assistants.
Limitations
- Specific prices, the number of credits included in each tier of plans, etc. are not yet provided and are subject to the official pricing page.
- The availability of contact information depends on whether the platform already has the data; not all creators have it.
- The platform is subscription-based; without a subscription, the sponsorship database cannot be accessed.
