Purpose
FASHN is an AI agent for fashion e-commerce, used to create product visual content, monitor the market, and support publishing decisions. It claims to learn a brand's style with use, and its core positioning is "built for fashion, ready for production."
Main Capabilities
- Multi-start creation: You can start from product photos, model images, materials in the Gallery or the FASHN Elements asset library, or describe an idea in natural language as a starting point.
- Natural language instructions: Describe the desired model, pose, styling, scene, or edit in words, and the FASHN Agent will choose the appropriate workflow to generate it.
- Full storyline construction: Create variations, refine details, explore new angles, and turn favorite images into videos.
- Elements asset library: Provides ready-to-use curated assets such as models, poses, backgrounds, and clothing.
- Model consistency: The same model can be reused across looks, angles, and marketing campaigns.
- Editing and iteration: Refine details, create variations, and explore new views.
- API building: You can integrate FASHN's image, try-on, editing, and video tools into your own products.
- Team collaboration: Invite members to join an organization, create together in a shared workspace, and use shared credits; you can group assets into Collections, add custom Labels, and quickly find and review them through filtering.
- Cross-device continuity: Shoot products on your phone, create in chat, and continue on the web, with your account, credits, and work staying in sync.
How to Use
Start from any asset (product photo, model image, Gallery, or Elements library), or describe an idea directly in text; then explain the model, pose, styling, scene, or editing needs in natural language, and the FASHN Agent will choose the corresponding workflow to generate it; afterward, create variations, refine details, explore new angles, and turn images into videos. Teams can join a shared workspace to collaborate.
Use Cases
Product visual production for fashion e-commerce, marketing campaign assets, multi-angle and multi-look displays, image editing, and video content. The official statement says thousands of brands and creators use FASHN to create fashion content.
Limitations and Notes
- Detail fidelity: FASHN aims to keep product details such as color, prints, logos, materials, and structure unchanged, but AI can still make mistakes, so each image should be compared with the real product before publishing, because product images that do not match the actual item can lead to returns and complaintsClear, well-lit source photos work most reliably.
- Labeling compliance: Labeling rules vary by country and platform, and new regulations such as the EU AI Act impose transparency requirements on some AI-generated content. FASHN does not add visible watermarks or labels, so you must confirm the requirements of your target market and sales channel yourself.
- Real models: Models generated from descriptions are generated, not photographed; if you upload photos of real people (such as your own models or brand ambassadors), you need their permission, and FASHN's terms do not allow creating misleading images of real people without consent.
- Copyright: To the extent permitted by law, users own their works and may use them commercially under the plan purchased; copyright protection for AI-generated images varies by country and usually depends on the degree of human creative input. Similar outputs may also be generated by other users, so images are not guaranteed to be exclusive to you.
- Data usage: Unless you explicitly opt in through a separate agreement, FASHN will not use uploaded or generated images to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models; content is processed only by FASHN and its service providers to provide the service, and generated images remain in the Gallery until the user deletes them. The Legal Center lists these service providers and includes a data processing addendum for businesses.
- Difference from general-purpose generators: General-purpose image generators are aimed at any subject and often reinterpret clothing, changing prints, necklines, or logos; FASHN combines fashion-specific AI models (including its own virtual try-on model) with leading general-purpose AI models, and the FASHN Agent selects the appropriate model for each task so that products remain recognizable across shoots.
