Huly is an open-source all-in-one platform positioned as an alternative to Linear, Jira, Slack, and Notion, offering teams the various features needed for efficient work.
Purpose
Huly aims to provide developers and product teams with a unified platform for process, project, time, and knowledge management, promoting team collaboration.
Main Capabilities
- Project Management: Provides task management, team planner (a team calendar that centrally displays all personal tasks), time blocking (turning daily tasks into structured time blocks), notifications, keyboard shortcuts, and more.
- Virtual Office: Create customized virtual office spaces, support high-quality audio and video meetings, facilitate real-time communication for remote teams, and allow inviting guests.
- Two-Way GitHub Sync: Two-way sync with GitHub Issues and GitHub Projects, supporting private tasks, multi-repository management, milestone migration, progress tracking, and advanced filtering.
- Knowledge Base and Documents: Connect elements across workflows to build a dynamic knowledge base. The document editor supports real-time collaboration, version history, rich text formatting, images, attachments, code blocks, user mentions, issue links, and action item assignment.
- Communication: Supports direct messages and group chats, real-time sync, and progress monitoring.
- Other: Create tasks, schedule personal events and to-dos, plan work, take notes, and more.
How to Use
Users can create workspaces through the Huly platform, customize offices and meeting rooms, and use keyboard shortcuts for quick operations. Tasks and projects can be synced with GitHub, and documents support real-time multi-person editing. The platform provides notifications so users can learn about changes immediately.
Applicable Scenarios
