W3Ledger (also known as Rolledge) is a self-verifying ledger MCP server for AI agents. Its core idea is: every transaction is cryptographically signed and chained to the previous transaction, thereby forming a verifiable chain structure. The server is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling AI agents to securely perform ledger-related operations.
Main capabilities include: querying token balances, creating and claiming gift cards, creating and claiming sponsorship cards, and handling dual-signature purchases. All write operations must have dual signatures (sender + receiver/distributor). Lambda functions on the server side are responsible for verifying all signatures and enforcing the continuity of the chain. The MCP server itself is designed as a lightweight HTTP client and cannot bypass the server-side security checks.
Regarding the security model, W3Ledger implements a self-verifying chain: each transaction is cryptographically linked to the previous transaction. Supported signature schemes include EVM signatures and post-quantum signature schemes ML-DSA-65 and SLH-DSA.
In terms of usage, installation via npx is recommended, with no additional installation steps required; you only need to configure the AI client. Configuration is supported in Claude Desktop (claude_desktop_config.json), Cursor (.cursor/mcp.json), and VS Code (.vscode/mcp.json). No external database or cloud credentials are required; the server connects to the W3Ledger API. The project documentation also provides environment variable configuration and methods to verify installation (for example, listing all available tools), and includes example conversations.
There are 6 tools in total, divided into categories such as Write (requires dual signatures), and there are tool categories intentionally excluded. Purchases automatically receive W3SH cashback based on W3SH loyalty tiers. The project uses the MIT license. The official website is w3ship.com, the GitHub repository is github.com/baskcart/rolledge, and the W3SH token is in the Uniswap CCA auction.
Applicable scenarios are mainly developers and integrators who need to provide secure, verifiable ledger operation capabilities for AI agents. In terms of limitations, the materials do not provide a specific list of tool names, environment variable details, the specific division of loyalty tiers, or cashback ratios; this information is not yet provided.
