Juris is an AI legal work platform (Juris OS) for Danish businesses and public institutions, designed to bring legal research, case materials, knowledge sharing and fixed processes together into a single platform.
Purpose and positioning The platform is aimed at businesses and public institutions with or without their own lawyers, covering roles from legal teams to management, HR and procurement; it is also aimed at lawyers, case handlers and administrative teams at public institutions, for finding relevant legal sources, getting an overview of case documents and sharing guidelines within the organization.
Main capabilities
- Legal question research: legal questions can be investigated by combining selected legal sources and your own documents, and following the source citations in the answer.
- Legal source search: built-in Retsinformation (laws, decrees and legislative preparatory materials), Domsdatabasen (Danish court judgments), EUR-Lex (EU legislation and Court of Justice of the European Union case law), Ankestyrelsen's practice database (principle notifications on social benefits and employment), Ankestyrelsen's municipal supervision (supervisory opinions on municipal administration), the Ombudsman's practice database (opinions on access to documents and administrative law), Skat (SKM rulings, binding replies and tax practice).
- Collections (Samling): bring documents, conversations and case context together, making it easy to continue work when new questions or new material arise.
- Knowledge sharing: share guidelines, templates and specialist materials with colleagues, and use shared knowledge as a reference in collections.
- Workflows: for recurring tasks that must follow specific steps; Juris assists with assessment and drafting, and stops at the agreed approval points, where a human completes the assessment and decision.
- Juris Aktindsigt: a finished Workflow for access-to-documents cases at public institutions, assisting with legal assessment, exceptions, further disclosure and draft replies; the user ultimately reviews the assessment and makes the decision.
- Governance and monitoring: authorized administrators can track active users, conversations and Workflow runs over time; governance features require the Pro or Enterprise version.
How to use it A free account can be created; new accounts require approval by Juris before access. The assistant in the platform can be used to investigate by combining selected legal sources, case documents and materials in the library. Tasks can be organized into a Workflow with fixed steps and paused at agreed approval points. If you want to build a Workflow for a specific task, you can describe your current way of working, and Juris will clarify the relevant sources, rules and approvals and provide a quote for building the flow. Workflows are part of Juris OS and must be purchased separately.
Use cases and limitations Suitable for legal research, contract work, cross-organizational knowledge accumulation and access-to-documents case handling at businesses and public institutions. The platform shown is a development version with demo data. The text does not provide further information about specific feature boundaries, data storage locations, response times or guarantees of results.
Pricing The page lists DKK 395 per user per month and states that you can choose a suitable subscription; Aktindsigt and custom Workflows must be agreed and purchased separately. New accounts require approval by Juris.
