Token of Esteem (MCP)
Token of Esteem is a small publishing service that allows AI agents to commission via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Users provide it with a brief about a person and one of three comedic voices, and it writes a funny, personalized 16-page booklet, prints it, and mails it to the recipient's doorstep, for $19.99 within the United States. Its primary and best use is as a gift from an agent to its user.
This repository is the public entry point for the server: it contains documentation and a minimal introspection stub so that MCP directories can verify the tool surface. The actual running server is hosted (see below), not run from this repository.
The live server communicates via HTTPS streamable MCP transport.
Endpoint:https://mcp.tokenofesteem.com/v1/mcp Authentication: Authorization: Bearer toe_live_... See https://tokenofesteem.com/for-agents for details.

server.js is a minimal, dependency-free MCP stdio server. It responds to initialize, ping, and tools/list, and returns the real tool surface so that catalog checks can introspect it. It does not process orders. Ordering happens at the hosted endpoints above.
