Purpose
Pixo (Opus 5.5 Video Generator) is an online video generation tool whose core idea is to hand a text prompt to Claude Opus 5.5, letting it plan the storyboard, write the animation code, and then have the server render it into a 1080p MP4 video with sound. It is suitable for creating product launch videos, motion graphics, explainer animations, kinetic typography, animated charts, and short social ad videos, and is especially well suited to scenarios requiring the precise presentation of text, numbers, brand colors, and typography.
Main Capabilities
- Powered by Claude Opus 5.5: The model writes HTML animations in an isolated sandbox (using Canvas, SVG, GSAP, p5.js, or three.js) and checks the preview frames itself; afterward, a headless browser draws frame by frame, and FFmpeg encodes it into a 1080p MP4.
- No installation required: Claude Code, API keys, Node, or FFmpeg are not needed; the sandbox and renderer both run server-side, and users download the MP4 directly.
- Video specifications: Supports 16:9 (1920×1080), 9:16 (1080×1920), and 1:1 (1080×1080), with durations of 15, 30, or 60 seconds, 30 frames per second, and optional sound or silence.
- Image input: Up to 15 images can be attached in JPG, PNG, or WebP format, with a maximum of 10 MB each, and they can be selected, pasted, or drag-and-dropped. The browser first scales each image down so its longest side does not exceed 1920 pixels before uploading. The model looks at each image and builds the animation around them (panning, cropping, transitions), but it will not animate the people in photos.
- Audio: You can choose music, narration, upload your own audio, or silence. Audio uploads support MP3, WAV, M4A, or OGG, with a maximum of 10 MB (when the audio upload feature is available). The video uses the beginning portion of the selected track and truncates it to 15, 30, or 60 seconds; shorter tracks end with silence. When narration is enabled, Seed Audio generates the voiceover and pairs it with gentle background music; the optional reference voice can be a 1-to-30-second clip of up to 10 MB, which can be uploaded or recorded in the browser, and logged-in users can save clips for later use.
- Real-time workbench: The model's storyboard plan, notes, every file written, and every preview check are streamed in the workbench,Rendering then proceeds frame by frame. The entire generation process usually takes minutes rather than seconds, depending on the duration and the level of detail in the prompt.
- Billing method: Pay-as-you-go, with a small prepaid charge collected at the start, and actual usage deducted within the approved budget. When the limit is reached, you can choose to increase the budget or export the current version. Unused prepaid amounts are refunded, and failed videos are fully refunded.
How to use
- Describe the video: Explain the video's purpose, what it should show, and in what order. You can specify product names, colors, and the exact text you want displayed on screen, or start from an example.
- Choose duration and aspect ratio: Choose 15, 30, or 60 seconds; 16:9 is suitable for YouTube and landing pages, 9:16 is suitable for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, and 1:1 is suitable for feeds; you can choose sound-on or silent.
- Watch generation and download: The model's storyboard plan, notes, and every file written are streamed in the workspace, then rendering proceeds frame by frame, and finally you can download a 1080p, 30 fps MP4 file.
Prompt suggestions should include five parts: purpose, the exact on-screen text marked with quotation marks, three to six scene beats listed in order, visual style (color hex codes, light or dark background, minimal/bold/lively mood, etc.), and real numbers, names, and URLs. The model is set to use only the information provided in the prompt.
Suitable scenarios
- Product launch videos: announce a launch and show the product name, drawn interface, and call to action.
- Motion graphics: logo animations, title cards, and transitions with easing and layered motion.
- Explainer animations: diagrams built step by step to explain how a system, process, or pricing model works.
- Kinetic typography: quotes, hooks, and lyrics in which the text itself serves as the animation.
- Animated charts: bar charts, line charts, and counters that land on the real numbers in the prompt.
- Social ads and short videos: 9:16 vertical edits for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Limitations
- Video duration is capped at 60 seconds; for multi-minute videos, it is officially recommended to use Claude Code with Remotion or HyperFrames instead.
- Uploading videos is not supported.
- Generated videos are drawn based on code rather than pixel-level realistic footage; if you need real scenes such as "pedestrians on a Tokyo street in the rain," you should use video models such as Veo, Kling, and Runway.
- Image attachmentsitems will not make the people in the photo move.
- Regarding free quota: the four sample videos on the homepage can be played for free without an account. Login grant credits, administrator-granted credits, purchased credits, and subscription credits can be used for your own videos. Starting a 15-second video requires at least 50 eligible credits, and longer videos require a larger prepayment. Check-in and other reward credits cannot be used for videos. Eligible new accounts may receive 3 signup grant credits (subject to signup checks), and these signup credits expire after 63 days. Videos made before the first purchase will have a small moving watermark.
- Pricing: a typical 15-second video consumes about 40 credits, about $2.00 at the Starter plan rate, and about $3.04 at the Starter credit pack rate. The initial prepayment is 50 credits for 15 seconds, 100 credits for 30 seconds, and 200 credits for 60 seconds; narration may require a larger reservation. These are prepayments, not minimum prices. The initial budget for a 15-second video is 200 credits; when the limit is reached, the video pauses, and you can choose to increase the budget or export the current version. Plans start at $9 per month including 180 credits; credit packs start at $5 including 50 credits, with no subscription required. Trial credit packs do not guarantee completion of a video, and actual usage may require more credits. All prices are in US dollars.
- The actual generation effect of prompts, specific rendering times, and availability may vary depending on the model and server status; the materials do not provide guarantees beyond the above.
