Applystead is a tool that uses AI technology to help job seekers simplify the job application process, primarily aimed at users applying for positions on employers' own recruitment websites. Its core goal is to reduce searching and repetitive work, making the job search process more efficient.
Main Capabilities
Free Resume Customization
Users can paste their resume and job description without creating an account, and the AI will adjust the resume content accordingly, allowing users to edit each section and then export a clean PDF. In addition, a free keyword checker can compare keyword coverage between the resume and the job description.
Job Matching and Application Preparation
After registering and subscribing, Applystead filters matching positions from indexed jobs based on the work preferences set by the user (such as role, location, salary, match threshold, etc.). Users can view the salary and the reason for the match for each position. Under the Standard plan ($200 per month), users can prepare up to 200 applications per day, and each application is sent after the user clicks "Apply." Users can review the exact resume and answers.
Auto Apply and Auto Replies (Premium)
The Premium plan ($500 per month) provides an auto apply feature: after the user enables Auto apply, positions matching the user's settings (with a selectable match threshold of 50%–100%, and no daily limit) will automatically fill out and submit the application form on the employer's website, including attaching the resume, answering employer questions (extracted from the user's saved answers, or asking once for questions only the user can answer and then reusing them), and generating a cover letter tailored to the position when needed. The AI will not answer legal or equal opportunity related questions. After submission, Applystead will read the employer's confirmation page (supporting Spanish, Portuguese, and German) and handle verification codes or links sent by email.
The auto reply feature (Full auto replies) drafts replies from the user's profile, saved answers, and reply preferences, including content the user requests to decline (such as contract positions), and offers available interview times on the user's calendar (from one day to two weeks later). Each auto reply will wait in Scheduled for at least 10 minutes, or until the user's selected working hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM local time). Full auto sends up to 20 replies per day and up to 2 per conversation. Matters requiring user action (such as opening a link or answering questions only the user can answer) will wait for the user. Once the recruiter confirms the interview time, Full auto will checkCheck whether the time is still free, then accept and add it to the user's connected Google, Outlook, or Apple calendar.
Email summaries and inbox management
Applystead sends at most one email per day, summarizing all applications since the last email; users can turn this feature off in their profile. Recruiter replies arrive in the Applystead inbox and are shown next to the corresponding application, labeled as interview invitations, etc. When forwarding is enabled, replies are also forwarded to the user's own email.
