Use cases Opolyo AI is an AI 3D model generator focused on turning a single image or one-sentence text prompt into usable 3D assets. It is officially described as “one photo or one sentence input, output a textured 3D model with a real back and sides, completed in one to three minutes,” and the credit cost can be viewed before generating. It is suitable for product and design references, characters and props, scene dressing, and other uses, and also supports 3D printing, film and television, or game production.
Main capabilities It supports both image-to-3D and text-to-3D entry points. Officially, there are six starting points in total, but the same generator outputs the same textured mesh. Image input supports JPG, PNG, or WEBP, up to 10 MB; text input accepts a written prompt, with an optional negative prompt, up to 255 characters. For generation settings, you can choose Standard, Ultra, or Max texture quality, as well as Shaded (flat color) or PBR (physically based texturing) texture types; PBR is suitable for import into game engines or renderers. Topology can be triangles or quads. Triangles are the default and fit most uses, while quads are suitable for later editing or animation. The polygon count can be set from 500 to 2,000,000 faces, which is an upper limit; the final mesh will be equal to or below that value. Automatic size and orientation controls are also available, and automatic size scales the result according to real-world dimensions. Generation time increases with polygon count and texture quality, and is usually within three minutes. For output formats, GLB is output directly from the generator with embedded PBR baked textures; STL and OBJ are converted in the browser at download time; FBX, glTF, USDZ, and 3MF are written by the converter. STL is exported in binary format, and the model is officially described as a closed mesh that can be read by mainstream slicing software. FBX can be imported directly by Unity and Unreal; GLB is suitable for all scenarios that read glTF, including web viewers; Apple device AR can be converted to USDZ. Text generation supports a fixed seed to reproduce results. Text generation has three seeds: model, texture, and concept image; if left blank, a new result is generated each time.
How to use Officially described in three steps: first, upload an image; you can drag and drop a file, paste with Ctrl+V, or start from an example. It is recommended to use a single clear subject and a solid-color background for the cleanest mesh; second, generate; choose texture quality, topology, and polygon budget, watch the model build in the viewport, and the button will show the credit cost for the selected settings, usually within three minutes; third, download GLB, STL, or OBJ and GLB come with baked textures. STL and OBJ are converted in the browser at download time, and can be used commercially. There is also a format conversion feature that lets you upload existing GLB, glTF, FBX, OBJ, or STL files and output them as FBX, OBJ, STL, glTF, USDZ, or 3MF; conversion is a separate step and is charged separately, at a fraction of the generation cost.
Use cases The officially listed scenarios include: turning reference photos into meshes that can be lit and rotated; creating characters and props from photos or sentences; textured characters and sets at download time; for 3D printing or film, television, and game production. Text generation is suitable for objects that do not yet exist, while image generation is suitable when there is an existing specific reference.
Pricing and licensing The official FAQ states: there is no free version. One standard-texture generation costs 10 credits, and image or text prompts are the same; Ultra or Max textures and quad topology cost more, and the polygon budget does not affect the price; the price number updates when settings change. Subscription credits are issued monthly and reset at the end of the month; one-time credit packs are valid for 365 days; when credits are consumed, the ones expiring soonest are used first. Failed generations automatically return credits without requiring a request. Models generated with a paid plan or credit pack come with a commercial license, including client work and products sold. Users retain ownership of uploaded images and generated models, and Opolyo does not claim ownership. Generated results are visible only to the account by default and are not published to a public gallery. The official page shows three subscription tiers: 160 credits/month (16 generations), 360 credits/month (36 generations), and 900 credits/month (90 generations, lowest cost per credit, with priority email support, 24-hour response), all cancellable at any time. Specific prices are not yet provided.
Limitations There is no free version. STL and OBJ are converted in the browser at download time, while FBX, glTF, USDZ, and 3MF require the converter and are charged separately. Image input is a maximum of 10 MB; a single subject and a solid-color background are recommended, and complex scenes with multiple objects usually lead to poor results. Text prompts are less precise than photos; photos can lock onto a specific object, while sentences describe the type of object and leave the details to the generator. Generation time increases with polygon count and texture quality, and is usually within three minutes.
