MakeMyOC is a free OC (Original Character) generator and AI character creator, aimed at artists, writers, tabletop RPG players, and fan creators who want to quickly create original characters. Users only need to describe a character in natural language, and the AI can generate an image in seconds, with no drawing or design experience required.
Main capabilities:
- Generate original character images through text prompts, with support for details such as hair color, eye color, clothing, expression, pose, and art style. The more specific the prompt, the closer the result is to what you envision.
- Support multiple art styles and character types, including anime style, realistic fantasy portraits, chibi, stylized cartoons, and more.
- Support fan character creation, and can be used for character design in anime and game universes such as Demon Slayer, Sonic, My Hero Academia, Genshin Impact, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, and more.
- Support uploading reference images (existing sketches, photos, or other characters) as a starting point for generation, and combine negative prompts to exclude unwanted features, with five aspect ratio options for more precise control.
- Generated results are downloadable 1K resolution images, suitable for avatars, story illustrations, or visual references for creative projects.
- Community gallery feature: share generated characters to the community gallery, browse popular creations, and build a personal character portfolio.
How to use:
- Enter a text description of the character in the prompt box.
- Choose the AI model and settings. The model currently available for image generation is GPT Image 2; Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro are shown in the model selector as Coming Soon previews, cannot yet generate images, and do not consume credits. You can customize the aspect ratio, reference image, and prompt details such as pose, expression, clothing, lighting, and scene.
- Click generate, and after a few seconds you can preview the result, download the high-resolution image, or share it to the community gallery. If generation fails, no credits are deducted from the account. You can generate repeatedly by adjusting the prompt or settings until the character matches your expectations.
