Purpose
ColdIQ is aimed at B2B sales, go-to-market (GTM), and revenue teams, integrating capabilities scattered across multiple data vendors—such as lead search, contact enrichment, email and phone lookup and verification, tech stack and job information extraction, and buying signal tracking—into a single platform. It officially describes its goal as "turning prompts into revenue," allowing users to obtain B2B data directly in natural language in chat, the terminal, or team Slack.
Main Capabilities
- Unified Access: Using a single API key, users can access 40+ data providers and 700+ endpoints, paying based on usage. Officially cited providers include Apollo, People Data Labs, Prospeo, Findymail, FullEnrich, BuiltWith, TheirStack, DataForSEO, Exa, and others, covering areas such as email, phone, company, signals, SEO, advertising, social, and outreach.
- Agent Chat (ColdIQ Agent BETA): Use natural language to search companies, enrich domains, find contacts, verify emails, and chain calls to marketing tools. In the official demo, users can ask to find the head of sales at companies of a certain size in a certain industry in a certain region, obtain verified emails, and score them based on historical deal data.
- Multi-platform Use: The same agent and the same credits can be used in the terminal, browser, and team Slack; users can mention @ColdIQ in any channel or thread to ask questions.
- MCP Integration: ColdIQ MCP can be connected to existing terminals (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) and called directly within coding agents.
- Routing and Waterfall Enrichment: For each request, the agent evaluates each provider's performance in matching, cost, and accuracy, and selects the best one to call; when a provider has no results, it automatically tries the next one and verifies each email.
- Flexible Billing: 300 credits are given upon signup, with no credit card required; credits are consumed per call, and the price is shown before the call; one-time credits never expire; there is no per-user seat fee, and colleagues sharing the same account do not increase the bill.
- Plan Tiers: The official description includes plans such as Free, Starter, and higher tiers. Free includes 300 credits and 40+ data providers, 700+ endpoints, agent chat, Projects (row-by-row CSV enrichment), automatic routing, waterfall and email verification, REST API, and MCP, among others; Starter is monthly 7,000 to 31,000 credits, credits can be changed at any time, unused credits can be carried over for 3 months (15 months for annual billing), includes a consulting call add-on; higher tiers are 40,000 to 455,000 credits per month, include a weekly one-on-one call with a GTM engineer until the first qualified meeting, an annual billing onboarding call, dedicated infrastructure add-ons, and priority support. If credits are insufficient, you can contact the official team.
- Exportable data: results can be sent back to a CRM, sequencing tool, or Clay table; the official team says they can be saved as CSV and you can continue drafting emails.
How to use
- After signing up, you get 300 free credits.
- Ask questions directly in natural language in the browser chat, or @ColdIQ in Slack, or connect MCP to terminals such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
- Developers can call the REST API, and the official team provides a complete OpenAPI specification.
- You can also enrich a CSV row by row in Projects.
Use cases
- B2B outbound and lead generation: find target companies, contacts, and verify emails and phone numbers.
- Account scoring: score leads using historical deal data.
- Buying signal tracking: find out whether a target account raised funding this week, etc.
- Market and advertising research: the official team says the same account can also answer SEO questions, advertising research questions, and market research questions, providing ranking keywords, backlinks, SERP data, ad libraries, Reddit search, local business data, and creator discovery, among others.
- Tech stack and job information retrieval.
Limitations and notes
- The current agent chat is labeled BETA.
- Some plan prices, higher-tier names, and specific amounts are not clearly given in the official text and are not yet provided.
- Case data (300+ companies, $50M+ ARR, 7+ years of outbound experience) is self-reported by the official team.
- The coverage and accuracy of specific data providers may vary by region, and the official team says routing is evaluated based on real-time data.
- Users can still directly specify a particular provider; the router is only the default and not locked in.
- Provider keys and billing are managed on the ColdIQ side, and users do not need to sign up for these providers separately.
