About this tool

Purpose: operate a self-hosted LINE bot via an MCP client, with a focus on webhook queue issues that generic LINE MCP services cannot handle, such as investigating why a message was not replied to.

Main capabilities: query queue health (line_queue_health), view failed jobs (line_failed_jobs) and retry them (line_retry_job); support push delivery, Rich Menu switching (e.g., switching a user to the seller menu), follower growth, and remaining push quota queries. LINE-related tools work with any Messaging API channel.

Usage: it can be installed as a Claude Code plugin; during installation it asks for the required credentials and adds the triage skill; the server can still start when credentials are missing, and related tool calls return errors indicating the missing variables. The queue tools depend on the line_jobs and line_users tables in schema.sql, i.e., the schema included with projects generated by create-line-bot; if the queue is not used, the Supabase variables do not need to be configured and only the LINE tools can be used.

Limitations: broadcast is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled, because it sends to all friends and cannot be undone. LINE IDs are validated before sending (U/C/R + 32 hexadecimal digits, richmenu- + 32 hexadecimal digits). Access tokens are only sent to https://api.line.me,service role key is only sent to a custom SUPABASE_URL. line_retry_job only moves jobs in the failed state; reply tokens expire quickly, and after a retry a reply may fail again, so push can be used as a fallback. It runs only locally and does not collect data. Details such as the specific installation commands were not fully provided.
