Purpose
Dynamic Mockups is used to generate realistic product mockups before the product is actually produced. It is aimed at print-on-demand sellers, printing/dyeing shops, promotional and merchandise teams, etc., helping them quickly place design images onto realistic product images during quoting, listing, proposals, or presentations. The official description is "show every finished product, even if it doesn't exist yet."
Main capabilities
- MockAnything: With a single prompt (for example, describing a person wearing a T-shirt on a rocky coast in golden morning light), batch-generate manufacturable product mockups according to the selected products and colors; the official site says about one second per image.
- Batch: In one run, place the design onto all on-sale products, colors, and size variants; the official site says about 100 mockups / 100 seconds, and they can be pushed directly to Etsy or Shopify.
- Layouts: Arrange hundreds of mockups into posts, stories, Pins, and ads, using exact dimensions for each channel (the official site says 32 sizes per mockup), and download them all at once. Motion Mockups can also add video.
- Lookbooks: Add the customer's Logo to the products they asked about, compile them into a single link or PDF, and notify you when the customer opens it.
- Stitch AI: Plan stitches for embroidery orders, output embroidery mockups, DST machine files, and production documents with stitch counts (for quoting); the files belong to the user.
- Templates and your own Photoshop templates: Supports using the user's existing Photoshop templates; the official site says print areas, wrinkles, and colors remain intact, and anyone on the team can run designs through the templates.
- Product coverage: T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, wall art, phone cases, etc.; the official site says 10,000+ templates, covering the brands being printed.
How to use
- Integrations and sync: Native integrations keep stores in sync (such as Etsy, Shopify, WordPress); you can also connect thousands of apps through Make and Zapier to automate the steps around mockups.
- API: Run all of the above features at any volume within your own app or platform. The official site says that after sending a template ID and design, images are returned in about one second; JavaScript, Python, Laravel, and Rails client libraries are provided.
- MCP: The official MCP server provides 22 tools for Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and Lovable, letting AI assistants create mockups during chat using your own products, designs, and templates.
- Client-side personalization: Clients can upload designs and preview them on products on your website.
- CRM: Lookbook views, leads, and quote requests can be sent directly to your CRM.
Use cases
- Print-on-demand sellers: Launch an entire collection at once instead of listing one by one; every product and color comes with a real mockup, pushed directly to Etsy or Shopify.
- Quotes and approvals: Let clients see the finished result (print or embroidery) before an order goes into production; the official claim is faster quotes and approval on the first try.
- Promotions and merch teams: Within minutes of receiving a request, build a full product proposal using mockups with the client's logo, and get notified when the client opens the Lookbook.
Usage and cost limits
- The free plan requires no credit card, does not expire, includes daily MockAnything generations and 50 API credits, and has no watermarks.
- The official claim is that 1 credit corresponds to 1 image; more detailed paid plans and pricing are not yet provided.
- You can start from an existing product already on sale, or describe a scenario and have MockAnything build it.
- The official claim is that the first mockup takes about a minute, and after that about 100 images can be completed in about 100 seconds.
