About this tool

AI Image Detector is an online AI image detection tool whose core goal is to answer "whether this image was generated by AI" and provide verifiable evidence, rather than a vague speculative percentage.

[Purpose] Used in scenarios where it is necessary to determine the true origin of an image, such as verifying personal avatars, reviewing images on content platforms, checking product images before procurement, screening assets before publication, and maintaining the purity of human-created galleries. Use it when distinguishing between authentic and fabricated matters.

[Main Capabilities]

  1. Multi-model cross-validation: Calls four independent AI detection models simultaneously, aggregates results according to publicly disclosed weighted voting rules, displays each engine's vote with attribution, and truthfully reports disagreements between engines rather than hiding them.
  2. Deterministic file evidence takes priority: First checks C2PA credentials and generator self-markers. Such evidence speaks only when fully certain, and once present it can override all models and directly determine the conclusion.
  3. Tiered conclusions: Outputs five levels ranging from "AI-generated" to "authentic," which can support subsequent integrity discussions; the report does not use "conclusion"-style wording, but instead uses wording such as "recommend manual review."
  4. Batch detection: Supports batch screening of up to 50 images at a time, providing triage summaries and CSV export.
  5. Complete report: The report displays evidence, each engine's vote, and visual inspection results side by side, supports generating shareable links and forensic PDF downloads, and records the SHA-256 hash of the analyzed bytes.
  6. Processing flow: After the original image is uploaded, all models run in parallel; a single engine failure will not block the report, and the corresponding credits are automatically refunded.

[How to Use] Upload the unmodified original image, supporting drag-and-drop, browsing, or pasting. The tool analyzes the exact bytes and records the SHA-256. Then the four detection models vote in parallel, producing a tiered conclusion within seconds. Files with metadata stripped can also be detected, but the evidence is weaker, and the report will truthfully indicate uncertainty. Registration grants 4 welcome credits, and the first complete report is free.

[Applicable Scenarios] Verify avatar photos; provide reviewers with shareable report links; batch process review queues; confirm content origin before publication; identify generated images before procurement; share images after detection passes.

[Limitations and Notes] No AI image detector can be 100% accurate. This tool improves reliability through multi-model cross-validation and truthfully reporting disagreements. The report does not provide a single percentage. The report cost is currently 4 credits per report, and this number depends on changes to the engine pool: when new detection engines are added, the cost per report may increase, changes will be announced in advance, and reports already run will not be affected.

[Pricing] All features are available, pay-as-you-go. Free registration grants 4 credits (1 complete report, no credit card required), including complete detection signals and shareable report links and forensic PDF downloads. The Pro plan provides 300 credits per month and includes batch screening (50 images, CSV export); there is also a 1,500-credit-per-month plan for trust and safety and review teams, including shared workspace history and priority support. Specific prices are not yet provided.
