Flight Master Aviation Data MCP is an MCP integration service officially provided by Flight Master DAST, designed to bring professional aviation data capabilities into AI agents, coding assistants, and MCP-compatible applications.
Purpose The service exposes aviation data to AI applications through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling them to answer questions related to air travel such as flight status, route flights, onboard experience, delay risk, airport weather, and flight trajectories. Official example questions include: what is the current status of CA1831, what flights are there today from Beijing Capital Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, does this flight provide meals or Wi-Fi, what is the predicted delay risk of this flight, what is the weather at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, and where is this flight currently located and at what altitude.
Main Capabilities (Tools) The MCP server currently provides nine tools, covering data dimensions such as flight status, route flight queries, onboard experience, delay risk prediction, airport weather, and flight trajectories. Three of the operational statistics tools return a downloadable Excel link after a successful call, and the link is valid for 1 hour after the successful call. The complete tool architecture, parameters, response structure, routing rules, and usage guidance can be found in the official agent-oriented documentation:https://dast.133.cn/mcp_assets/agent.md
Connection Methods The service supports two MCP connection modes:
- Remote MCP, based on Streamable HTTP, recommended for most users, hosted AI agents, and MCP clients that support remote MCP servers, with no need to install an MCP server locally. The remote MCP endpoint is:https://fly.huoli.com/mcp/dast_mcp
- STDIO MCP, based on the official npm package, suitable for MCP clients that support local STDIO servers. The official npm package address is:https://www.npmjs.com/package/@flightmaster/aviation-dast-mcp。STDIO The package requires a required environment variable to be set and supports one optional environment variable; DAST_MCP_URL should usually be omitted and only needs to be provided when a custom Flight Master DAST MCP gateway address is required.
Authentication and API Key Both connection modes require a Flight Master DAST API Key. In remote mode, the API Key should be placed in the HTTP Authorization request header; in STDIO mode, the API Key is provided through a required environment variable. The process for obtaining an API Key is: visit the Flight Master DAST platform https://dast.133.cn,注册或登录,打开 MCP console, create an API Key, then use that key in the MCP client configuration. Official special reminder: never publish, commit, or share real API Keys in public repositories.
Client Configuration The documentation provides configuration examples for multiple clients, including Claude Code and other MCP clients compatible with STDIO, Cursor (which supports both remote MCP and STDIO MCP, with the remote method being the recommended option), Cline (which also supports both methods), as well as generic remote Streamable HTTP and STDIO configurations. After configuration is complete, the Flight Butler DAST tools should appear in the MCP tool list. The official guidance also states not to commit configuration files containing real API Keys to public repositories.
Use Cases and Limitations Use cases include: AI agents or programming assistants querying aviation travel-related information during conversations; MCP-compatible applications that need flight status, route flights, onboard experience, delay risk, airport weather, and trajectory data. Limitations and notes: This repository is the official public integration repository and contains only MCP integration documentation, remote MCP connection examples, STDIO npm integration examples, authentication guidance, client configuration examples, and MCP ecosystem metadata; it does not contain production MCP server source code, internal aviation data processing systems, proprietary data pipelines, or backend business logic. Production aviation data services and remote MCP infrastructure are operated by Flight Butler DAST. If tool definitions change, the real-time MCP tools/list response should be taken as the authoritative source. The specific charging and pricing information for this MCP service is not provided in the official text and must be based on the DAST platform's account registration, API Key management, usage information, and billing page (https://dast.133.cn)为准。
