Context Apps MCP is an AI-driven productivity suite that connects four apps—To-Do, Ideas, Journal, and Timer—with MCP-compatible clients such as Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Purpose It is designed for users who want to manage personal tasks, inspiration and ideas, journaling, and time tracking in a unified way with the help of AI, allowing AI clients to directly read and write this productivity data and provide analysis and suggestions.
Main Capabilities Smart task management: AI task breakdown and prioritization, smart time estimation, context-aware scheduling, progress tracking and insights. Idea development: AI brainstorming assistance, concept expansion and refinement, knowledge linking and organization, idea synthesis and insights. Journal intelligence: emotion pattern recognition, personal growth tracking, AI-guided reflection prompts, behavioral insight analysis. Productivity optimization: focus session management, work pattern analysis and optimization, habit-building guidance, performance metrics and suggestions.

It can also be used in other MCP clients. To unlock full functionality, all apps need to be downloaded from the App Store.
Use Cases For example: ask AI to help organize a day with 5 tasks and 3 meetings, and AI will analyze the tasks, estimate time, and generate an optimized schedule; expand ideas about sustainable urban transportation, and AI will develop concepts, suggest research directions, and structure thoughts; compare this month's productivity changes with last month's, and AI will provide insights by combining timer and journal data; generate personalized reflection questions based on recent journal entries.
Authentication and Security Authentication method: Apple ID OAuth 2.0. Requirement: the Context app must already be installed on an iOS device. Permissions: read and write access to productivity data. Privacy: end-to-end encrypted communication. Data control: data belongs to the user and can be exported at any time.
Platform and System Requirements MCP client: any MCP-compatible application. Authentication: Apple ID is required. iOS app: the Context app must be installed on an iOS device. Network: a stable connection is required.
