Purpose
No AI Slop is a writing-editing skill used to remove 20+ "AI slop" (AI flavor, AI cliches) patterns from any text. The problem it targets is this: AI makes it easy to generate clean, polished writing, but the result is often cookie-cutter; even using AI to edit can flatten out the vocabulary, rhythm, humor, and imperfections that make writing feel like "yours."

It also checks the fundamentals: getting to the point when appropriate, using active voice, breaking down hard-to-understand sentences, and prioritizing concrete details over abstract expressions.
How to use
Editing writing: the skill removes AI slop patterns, preserves personal tone, and lists what it changed. The skill cites each slop pattern it finds, but does not try to guess whether the text was written by AI.
Generating slop for entertainment: you can use it to generate the most cringeworthy AI slop as satire.
There are two ways to install it: the simplest is to paste the installation instructions into ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, or your usualcoding agent; it can also be installed with npx. The original text does not provide the specific installation command content.
