About this tool

anyhook-mcp is the client tool that accompanies AnyHook. AnyHook itself is a Webhook relay service: by changing just one URL, your Webhooks gain automatic retries, a complete event log, and one-click replay.

Purpose This repository provides the source code for the npm package corresponding to AnyHook, as well as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and signature verification functionality, used to let AI agents connect to and operate AnyHook's Webhook endpoints.

Main capabilities Through anyhook-mcp, agents can create apps, read and inspect events, replay failed deliveries, and simulate or verify signed payloads. Its anyhook_quickstart tool can generate a live Webhook endpoint and secret without an account; the endpoint has a 7-day TTL, after which it can be claimed into a free account. Note that this endpoint is newly created and is not an endpoint under your existing account.

How to use If you already have an AnyHook account: add https://anyhook.net/mcp to Claude Code, claude.ai, Codex, or VS Code, and log in through the browser without copying a secret. For detailed steps for each app (including Cursor), see https://anyhook.net/mcp。

If you do not yet have an account: run the package locally with the command npx -y anyhook-mcp.

If you prefer to use HTTP directly, the same bootstrap process can also be completed with a single curl command.

The project requires a pnpm workspace and Node 20 or later. The hosted relay service itself (entry, forwarder, dashboard) is a separate closed-source service; this repository is only the client tool.

See openapi.json for the API reference; see llms.txt for agent documentation; see pricing.md for pricing; see anyhook.net/mcp for MCP setup. The repository also includes a security policy.

Use cases Suitable for development and debugging scenarios that require AI agents to automatically manage Webhook endpoints, inspect delivery records, replay failed requests, or verify signed payloads.

Limitations The hosted relay service is closed-source, and the repository only provides the client tool; endpoints generated by the local quickstart have a 7-day TTL; a Node 20+ environment is required.
