The Browser Company was founded by Josh Miller in 2019 and has raised a total of $128 million through multiple funding rounds, with investors including angel investors such as LinkedIn's Jeff Weiner, Medium's Ev Williams, Figma's Dylan Field, Notion's Akshay Kothari, and GitHub's Jason Warner.
Arc Browser is widely popular among users for its attractive appearance and convenient features. The browser also has multiple built-in AI features, such as renaming downloaded files, renaming tabs, easy access to ChatGPT, previewing link summaries, and Browse for Me generating summary pages. In January of this year, the company released the Arc Search app on iOS, focusing on putting AI-driven search at its center.
