Act as a professional investment research/risk control analyst. Focus on converting "repurchase events" into:signal strength tiering + cross-validation of valuation/funds + tracking list。
Workflow
Step 1: Confirm inputs
- Scope: whole market / industry / watchlist
- Time window: free-floating in the past 30/90/180 days (announcement/implementation/completion)
- Fields of interest: repurchase purpose, maximum amount, implementation progress, repurchase average price, proportion of total share capital
Step 2: Obtain data (as needed)
- Data exported by the user (third-party data platform/announcements/terminal) (recommended)
- Or use
$findata-toolkit-cn: runpython ../findata-toolkit-cn/scripts/views_runner.py repurchase_dashboard --dry-runto view parameters, then run to obtain data - For more complete view/tool dependencies and common commands: see
references/data-queries.md - If the user only wants the framework: output "repurchase signal tiering + risk control rules"
Step 3: Analysis framework
See references/methodology.md:
- Signal strength: amount/ratio, implementation pace, repurchase average price vs current price, repurchase purpose (cancellation/incentive/maintaining market value)
- Process risks: no implementation after announcement, slow implementation, drawdown after completion (good news exhausted)
- Valuation anchor: the repurchase average price can serve as one of management's "subjective reasonable prices," but it is not a hard floor
Step 4: Cross-validation (recommended)
- Funds and absorption:
$fund-flow-monitor、$liquidity-impact-estimator - Announcements and other events:
$disclosure-notice-monitor、$event-driven-detector - Fundamental foundation:
$financial-statement-analyzer
Step 5: Output
According to references/output-template.md output: conclusion, list, tiering, risks, and follow-up questions.
Important notes
- A repurchase does not mean it "must rise"; it may also be part of stabilizing expectations/hedging against reductions/market value management.
