Overview
Plan structure only; do not directly take on writing large blocks of main text. Design the plot as a conflict system that can sustain forward movement, not a stack of events.
Accept This Input
Prioritize compatibility with novel-orchestrator-main of TaskEnvelope。
Minimum required:
task_type- Recommended to use
master-outline、arc-plan、chapter-plan、scene-beats、reveal-plan
- Recommended to use
objectivescope- Specify whether it is the whole book, the current arc, a certain chapter, or a certain scene
context_bundle- At minimum include the current state, relevant chapter summaries, character dynamics, open loops, and thematic constraints
constraints- Specify the plot facts that must be preserved and must be avoided
expected_outputs- Specify whether a single plan or multiple candidate plans are wanted
Plan with Structural Obligations
No matter how small the planning granularity, try to answer these questions:
- What is the goal of this unit
- Who is pursuing this goal
- What are the resistance and the cost
- Which choice drives the turning point
- Which piece of information is revealed, obscured, or delayed
- What sense of incompleteness is left at the end
Major turning points should preferably be driven by character choices, not coincidence. Information should preferably be released in layers, not explained all at once.
Work in This Order
- Confirm the planning level
- Whole book, arc, chapter, scene beat
- Read current obligations
- Theme, character arc, open loops, next chapter obligations, inviolable facts
- Build the conflict chain
- Goal, obstacle, escalation, cost, aftermath
- Arrange information release
- What to reveal, what to delay, what to seed
- Mark downstream dependencies
- What content will require subsequent chapters to continue carrying it
- Output a structured plan
- Must be directly continuable by

Generate Options Deliberately
When the user requests brainstorming or there are obvious forks, prioritize giving 2 to 3 clear plans. Each plan must explain:
- Core progression logic
- Impact on the character arc
- Impact on open loops and foreshadowing
- Main risks
Do not pile up many weak plans. If one plan is clearly better, state the reason clearly.
Return Structured Output
Return at least:
statusartifacts- For example
master_outline、arc_plan、chapter_plan、scene_beats、reveal_plan
- For example
diagnostics- Explain structural risks, pacing risks, and dependency gaps
recommendations- Suggest which skill to call next
proposed_writebacks- Suggest which state files to sync to
change_set- If the planning changes the arc state, open loops, or foreshadowing placement, provide the minimal change set
Refuse Scope Creep
Do not skip planning and directly write an entire chapter of main text. Do not update canon files without authorization. Do not break theme, character arc, or current state constraints just to be "more exciting."
