Required Capabilities
Use the Presentations capability provided by the environment to create, render, and export PPTX. If that capability is unavailable, explain the limitation first; do not pass off full-page screenshots as an editable presentation.
Workflow
- Read the source documents, data, and existing visual rules.
- Establish content positioning: audience, occasion, time, takeaway sentence, three core concepts, and common misconceptions.
- Create a page table: page number, role, title, single claim, evidence object, comprehension task, layout.
- Complete the storyline first, then build the slides.
- Use PowerPoint native text, shapes, tables, charts, and editable icons.
- Render all slides and check them page by page.
- Fix the weakest pages and re-render.
- Deliver
.pptx, preview images, and check results.
Page Rules
- One claim per page; write titles as conclusion sentences or question sentences whenever possible.
- At most three main elements per page; if exceeded, split the page or present in steps.
- Arrange a judgment, question, or comprehension task every three to five pages.
- When text is the main focus, use large font sizes, clear hierarchy, and generous whitespace.
- Do not convert source document sections page by page into titles plus bullet points.
- Do not compress important text, mathematical expressions, or chart labels into images.
For detailed instructional design principles, see references/deck-principles.md。
PPTX Quality Rules
- Keep all important text editable.
- Table and chart values must be verified against the source.
- Maintain image proportions; do not stretch or use low resolution.
- Chinese fonts must be available on the target computer, and reasonable substitute fonts must be prepared.
- For projection environments, body text should generally be no smaller than 20 pt.
- Use text configurations that PowerPoint can display reliably for mathematical symbols; use dual-layer text boxes or editable equation objects for complex formulas.
Render Check
Confirm page by page:
- No text overflow, clipping, or overlap.
- Alignment, whitespace, and visual hierarchy are consistent.
- Titles, charts, and presentation order match.
- Section rhythm and key pages remain recognizable in thumbnail view.
- The final PPTX can be reopened.
Workshop Quick Mode
When time is limited, complete 6–8 pages first:
- Cover and problem.
- Why it matters.
- Three core concepts.
- One case or chart.
- Common misconceptions.
- Takeaway sentence and action.
