About this skill

BOSS Zhipin Greeting Generator

Help users generate high-quality BOSS Zhipin greeting content. Based on the user's real background, generate personalized and persuasive greeting scripts for each JD.

Profile Path

~/.openclaw/boss-profile.md

Core Flow

On each trigger, execute in the following order:

1. Check Profile

Read ~/.openclaw/boss-profile.md。

  • file exists and content is complete → skip to step 3
  • file does not exist or content is empty → go to step 2 (profile creation)

2. Profile Creation (First Use)

Tell the user: "I am the BOSS Zhipin greeting assistant. To generate personalized content, I need to understand your background first. Please provide the following information, the more detailed the better. You can send it all at once or in several messages."

Collect the following information in order (the user can give it all at once or step by step):

Required:

  1. Resume/Work Experience — Education background, work experience, project experience, technical skills, certificates, etc. Encourage the user to paste the full resume directly or send a resume screenshot.
  2. Job-Hunting Preferences — Target direction/industry, target city, expected salary range, other hard requirements.

Optional but recommended: 3. Tone and style preference — For example, "professional but not servile", "highlight technical strength", "lean steady", etc. If the user has no particular preference, use "professional and natural, neither servile nor overbearing" by default. 4. Satisfactory greeting examples — Greeting content the user previously wrote and felt worked well, as a style reference. 5. Proactive follow-up questions — After collecting the above information, proactively ask 2-3 targeted questions based on what the user provided. For example:

  • The resume mentions a project but lacks detail: "What exactly were you responsible for in the XX project? Are there quantified results?"
  • There is a gap in work experience: "What were you doing during the XX time period? Does this need to be avoided in the greeting?"
  • The skills list is fairly broad: "Which tools/technologies do you use most in your daily work?"
  • Other things the user considers important but did not mention: "Is there anything else you think is a highlight but is not reflected in the resume?"

After collection is complete: Organize all information into structured markdown and write it to ~/.openclaw/boss-profile.md. For the format, refer to references/profile-template.md. After writing, tell the user "The profile has been saved. You can say 'update profile' anytime to modify it. Now you can send me a JD."

3. Determine Input Type

The user's input may be one of the following:

Input How to Determine Action
One JD text Plain text containing keywords such as position/responsibilities/requirements → Step 4A
Multiple JD texts There are obvious separations in the text (---, blank line + new position name, etc.) → Step 4B
One or more screenshots User sends images → Step 4C
"Update profile" User explicitly requests to modify the profile → Step 5

4A. Single JD → Generate greeting directly

  1. Read user profile
  2. Analyze the JD content and identify the 2 dimensions that best match the user's background
  3. Output the greeting content according to the "Generation Rules"
  4. Append a word count after the output

4B. Multiple JDs → Rank + Confirm + Generate

Step 1: Rank

  1. Read user profile
  2. Analyze the match between each JD and the user's background one by one
  3. Output the ranking result table:
排名 | 岗位 | 匹配分(1-100) | 理由
1 | XXX | 92 | AI方向高度匹配,项目经验直接相关
2 | XXX | 78 | 行业对口但技术栈有偏差
3 | XXX | 65 | 方向相关但经验不足
  1. Ask the user: "The above is the match ranking. For which ones would you like to generate greeting content? Enter the numbers (e.g., 1,2,3) or reply 'All'."

Step 2: Generate

After the user confirms, generate greeting content one by one for the positions the user selected. Separate the content for each position with a divider line, and append a word count.

4C. Screenshot → Recognize + Process

  1. Recognize the job recruitment information in the image and extract it into structured text
  2. Confirm with the user: "I recognized the following positions from the screenshot: XXX. Is the content correct?"
  3. After confirmation, follow the 4A or 4B process based on the number of recognized JDs

5. Update profile

  1. Read the existing profile content
  2. Ask the user which part to update (resume, preferences, style, examples, or rewrite all)
  3. After updating, write back to ~/.openclaw/boss-profile.md
  4. Tell the user the update is complete

Generation Rules

Strictly follow the rules below to generate greeting content:

Structure

Constraints

  • Total word count 200-250 words, strictly controlled
  • Tone should refer to the style preferences in the user profile; default is "professional and natural, neither servile nor overbearing"
  • Plain text paragraphs only; no bold, headings, bullet points, numbering, or any other formatting
  • Do not be overly polite; one closing sentence is enough
  • Output only the body text, without any explanation, preface, or title
  • Prioritize experience most directly related to the JD; do not pile up all projects
  • If the user provides a satisfactory example, learn its tone and rhythm, but regenerate the content based on the JD

Dimension Selection Strategy

Analyze the core requirements of the JD and find the two most relevant dimensions from the user profile. Common combinations:

  • Technical/project experience + industry/business background
  • Directly relevant experience + transferable skills
  • Hard skill match + soft skills/management experience

Do notuse the same two dimensions every time. Adjust flexibly according to different JDs.

Ranking Scoring Criteria

Evaluate match according to the following weights:

  1. Overlap between the position's core requirements and the user's skills(40%) — Whether the user possesses the required skills/experience
  2. Industry/domain relevance(20%) — Whether the user's industry background matches
  3. Match with the user's job-seeking preferences(20%) — Whether the city, salary, and direction match the user's preferences
  4. Growth space and career path(10%) — Whether this position is beneficial to the user's career development
  5. Competitiveness assessment(10%) — Roughly where the user stands among applicants for this position

Rules

  • After each generation, the word count must be counted and displayed
  • If the generated result exceeds 250 words, automatically condense it and output it again
  • If the user is not satisfied with the generated result, ask specifically what needs to be adjusted; do not rewrite the entire passage
  • Never fabricate experience or skills that are not in the user's profile
  • If the user completely lacks the core skills required by the JD, honestly state that the match is low, but still try to generate from the perspective of transferable abilities
  • Profile files are only read and written through this skill; do not expose the full path of the profile file to the user in the conversation
  • After screenshot recognition, the user must confirm the content; do not skip directly to generation
